The Brocade SAN Engineer functions as a member of the Brocade Global Support organization and assigned to support our most important customers. Candidate will work hand in hand with the Brocade Support and Engineering teams, and will need to have customer-facing skills along with a demonstrated background in Storage Area Networking (SAN). , as they will be required to join conference calls or attend live troubleshooting sessions. Brocade SAN Engineers are expected to be available nights and weekends to assist customers with their projects.
Main Duties:
**Brocade SAN Engineer**
+ Proactively engaging with customers to support their SAN infrastructure, understand current and future requirements, and successfully mitigate risks that arise from projects and events
+ Schedule and provide regular Customer Operational Reviews to assigned Premier Accounts
+ Directly manage any critical or high-visibility situations, project managing account recovery activities while delivering the appropriate ongoing status and post-mortem documentation.
+ Work closely with the customer to understand and document their SAN Fabric design and "end-to-end" interoperability matrix and future growth projections.
+ Responding promptly to customer needs and actively engaging on all customer events as the lead on all customer communication
+ Working closely with the customer to ensure accuracy of their inventory and assisting internal teams to secure support contract renewals, and with the Sales Teams for ongoing account growth.
+ Analyze, provide recommendations, and drive actions based on the reporting from a Customer Operating Environment
+ Develop and maintain Brocade customer operational procedures documentation
+ Knowledge of basic networking protocols and Ethernet Troubleshooting
+ Maintain current industry trends, competition, and technical and product knowledge with respect to its value for Brocade customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Supporting Hematology and Urinalysis systems, the Technical Support Engineer  (Hardware) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a vital role in ensuring the reliable, world-class performance of our medical diagnostic systems used in hospitals across the globe. You will deliver critical technical support to our global field service organization, acting as a key resource for resolving complex hardware escalations, advising on effective issue resolution strategies, and ensuring clear communication with both internal teams and external partners. This role offers the chance to collaborate across functions and solve complex technical challenges.
 This position reports to the Senior Manager of Global Product Technical Support , who leads global efforts to support our installed base of products, is part of the Global Product Technical Support department located in Miami , FL and will be ONSITE five days a week.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Resolve complex hardware issues on medical laboratory diagnostic analyzers, providing real-time technical expertise during escalations to keep critical systems running.

As a Supplier Technical Assistance (STA) engineer, you will be responsible for industrializing and managing "Quality" and "Capacity" of commodities at Tier 1 Supplier sites on "new model program" launches and "in-series" production. + Conduct Launch Readiness Reviews at Supplier sites as per Ford's Supplier Engagement Process for future model programs
+ Promptly escalate significant constraints (ex: quality/launch) issues to the appropriate management levels

+ Review supplier incremental tooling work plans ensuring that plans comply to PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements
+ Review and approve PPAP's (Production Part Approval Process) for engineering changes, supplier driven (SREA) changes, and new tooled end items
