Job Summary: keeps equipment of office building and warehouse in clean, orderly and in working condition by performing the following duties
Essential Job Duties:
Performs minor and major repair of the building and equipment
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on facility equipment on a scheduled basis
Installs electrical wiring and equipment
Assists with the renovation/remodeling of the building
Maintains and repairs equipment used throughout the warehouse daily
Performs preventative maintenance on various machinery around the warehouse
Performs mechanic maintenance on various forklifts
Transports small equipment or tools between departments
Responsible for acquiring parts needed for the various on site departments, on request
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands): MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK LONG HOURS WHEN NEEDED!, must display a great attitude toward the daily duties, minimal welding experience, minimal electrical experience, minimal knowledge of a pneumatic system (forklifts), general maintenance experience.
Education & Experience:
High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired. Prior painting, sanding, and machining experience , supplemented by on-the-job training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, work methods, to become familiar with the company’s products, locations, machines and equipment, operating methods, and to attain proficiency requirements and to fully assume responsibilities of the job.
Minimal experience in: welding, electrical work, pneumatic system and the use of various hand tools
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques and procedures. Must be able to work in cooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. They must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet. While performing the duties of this job, the
employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.

· Execute maintenance workload based on the maintenance level authorized, priority, and availability of parts, tools, equipment, and level of personnel experience.
· Ensure proper inventory accountability and maintenance of all communications equipment, tool sets, chests, and kits.
· Provide technical guidance to the Maintenance Officer on all matters pertaining to communications equipment readiness, tracking, and availability.
· Track repair parts and be the liaison to item managers, sources of supply, and commercial vendors to ensure repair parts are received in a timely manner.
· Possess a current Secret security clearance to ensure all Cryptographic Controlled Items are maintained while acting as the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS)
· Manager with authority over the AVTB communications vault.
· Install, uninstall, and keep track of communications equipment in government vehicles and in other Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems, as well as to fill cryptographic keys into electronic encryption devices and load correct frequencies for secure communication.
· Provide training opportunities to all other members of AVTB in regard to tactical vehicle communications systems.
· Submit frequency requests in support of T&E.
· Possess familiarity with the following platforms: AN/VRC-110, AN/PRC-153, AN/VRC89, AN/PRC-150, AN/PRC-117F, AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-150, AN/VRC-114, AN/PRC-160, AN/VRC-124, and Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P).
Qualifications:
· Level I (Entry/Junior) - less than 5 years of experience.

What We Need:
We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Gunlocke team in Wayland, NY!
What You Will Do:
- Operate woodworking machines
- Inspects the quality of all work.
- Makes machine adjustments to ensure satisfactory production.
- Inspects work for defects and machined parts to ensure job specifications are maintained.
- May pull required fixtures, holding devices and material.
- May insert tools in tool holders or install pre-set tools in machine.
- May set tools as necessary.
- May adjust tool travel distance.
- May input required program instructions.
- Selects, set up, installs, and adjusts saw blades, cutter heads, and boring bits using hand tools and rule.
- Starts machine and makes trial cut.
- Operates machines to saw (variety saw); smooth and shape wood parts; trim (double end trim) to cut tenons and mortises (tenon machine); to bore holes (boring machine); to cut slots, grooves, and designs in wood stock (router).
- May use contour bander to add edging.
- Counts and records production and stacks material uniformly on shop truck.

- Ability to consistently meet high quality/quantity performance standards.
- Must comply with company rules, regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to work in a factory environment that may incur temperature fluctuations averaging around 50 degrees in the winter and 100+ degrees in the summer months.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and noise.
- Fast paced work environment driven by standard production goals based on customer demand.
- Ability to work up to 10-hour days as the schedule dictates.
