Your Role:

• Unload and receive incoming furniture orders, including moving large, heavy items manually.

• Comfortably lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and move items exceeding 150 pounds either solo or with assistance.

• Utilize scanning technology to log essential information, such as condition, quantity, and warehouse location.

• Monitor order management systems to verify all orders received properly, noting any discrepancies related to overages, shortages or damages.

• Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Select items for delivery from inventory and prepare them according to truck and stop numbers.

• Provide feedback on existing user tools and suggest enhancements based on your daily experiences.

Responsibilities:

·         Plan, coordinate, and supervise the organizational and intermediate maintenance production and maintenance management for all organic vehicle and handheld communications equipment within the AVTB inventory.

·         Execute maintenance workload based on the maintenance level authorized, priority, and availability of parts, tools, equipment, and level of personnel experience.

·         Ensure proper inventory accountability and maintenance of all communications equipment, tool sets, chests, and kits.

·         Provide technical guidance to the Maintenance Officer on all matters pertaining to communications equipment readiness, tracking, and availability.

·         Track repair parts and be the liaison to item managers, sources of supply, and commercial vendors to ensure repair parts are received in a timely manner.

·         Possess a current Secret security clearance to ensure all Cryptographic Controlled Items are maintained while acting as the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) 

·         Manager with authority over the AVTB communications vault.

·         Install, uninstall, and keep track of communications equipment in government vehicles and in other Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) systems, as well as to fill cryptographic keys into electronic encryption devices and load correct frequencies for secure communication.

·         Provide training opportunities to all other members of AVTB in regard to tactical vehicle communications systems.

·         Submit frequency requests in support of T&E.

·         Possess familiarity with the following platforms: AN/VRC-110, AN/PRC-153, AN/VRC89, AN/PRC-150, AN/PRC-117F, AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-150, AN/VRC-114, AN/PRC-160, AN/VRC-124, and Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P).

Qualifications:

·       Level I (Entry/Junior) - less than 5 years of experience. 

·       Requires a HS Diploma (BA/BS Preferred). 0-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. 

·       Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. 

·       Works under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

·       Position requires support of both water and land test and evaluation of amphibious and ground combat vehicles, to include, but not limited to water/land mobility, surf transitions, amphibious shipping, riverine operations, water/land recovery, and water/land towing.
