The role begins with a week of training from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, after which the regular shift will be from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Candidates must be open to working Saturdays if needed. 1st shift openings becoming available as well starting at 6:00am.
Responsibilities
+ Process mesh fabric into finished products.
+ Utilize micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
+ Perform slitting and stapling operations.
+ Follow detailed work instructions.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs as required.
+ Stage orders and assist in shipping operations.
+ Operate press machines, vertical presses, slitters, and expanders.
+ Work with 10 plate steel and wire mesh.
+ Perform basic math for accurate measuring.
+ Remove and place rolls into machinery.
+ Assist in machine setups and changeovers.

Essential Skills

* Ability to understand a 2-color print spec.
* Remove and mount cutting dies and print plates using the 2 people lift when needed.
* Recover and add inks, check viscosity and Ph levels and perform wash outs as needed.
* Ability to set up the feeder and feed end of machine.

* After machine is set up assist operator as needed.
* Use of available time to prepare machine for next set up.
* Perform other duties as assigned by a Supervisor, Superintendent or Production Manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
* Standing up to 12 hours per day and walking to and from various machines and locations throughout the facility.
* Ability to grasp objects with hands and fingers.
* Ability to repetitively bend and twist at trunk level.
* Ability to crouch and/or kneel when required.
* Ability to navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend and kneel thorough the entire shift.
What you need to succeed:
