We are seeking an Associate to join our Global Corporate & Investment Banking - Risk Management team. This role plays a key part within the First Line of Defense's program for assessing and monitoring operational risks, across the product offering of the group.
Key responsibilities:
+ Support the execution of the product risk management framework across wholesale lending, investment banking, and transaction banking products.
+ Leverage reporting tools and maintain risk documentation to support internal stakeholders and senior management.
+ Assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of key risks and controls associated with the products.
+ Develop subject matter expertise in the covered products to assist in horizon scanning for emerging risks.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
+ 1-3 year of relevant experience in banking.
+ Basic understanding of corporate & investment banking and / or transaction banking businesses.
+ Strong analytical, consultative, and investigative skills.
+ Ability to interact with all levels of internal stakeholders.
+ Familiarity with RCSA, control testing and issue management, a plus.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $88K - $111K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
