The Operations Assistant will assist in all aspects of purchasing and inventory for a HDPE extruded plastics products factory. This includes
entering production reports, purchasing for stock and non-items, performing and entering cycle counts, shipping and receiving functions.
The candidate must have a hands-on background with purchasing and inventory in a manufacturing environment.
• Collect, enter, and reconciliation of materials produced and used on a daily basis.
• Provide purchase orders to vendors that supply stock and non-stock items to the plant and schedule items to be delivered.
• Receive in purchase orders and ensure that items arrive.
• Interact and develop good working relationships with vendors.
• Monitor Safety stocks of materials used.
• Manage and update the list of vendors of items used.
• Perform and enter cycle counts on a bi-monthly cycle into JDE.
• Provide back up to shipping clerk on shipping and receiving functions.
• Operate within JDE inventory system, database, and excel spreadsheet.
Required:
• Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Basic mathematical skills.
• One to three years experience is also required.

**JOB SUMMARY**
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations for assigned area(s) and serves as a liaison between physicians, administration, staff and patients. This role is responsible for financial management of their assigned areas identifying and resolving matters to promote a safe and quality patient care environment, implements continuous process improvement and manages the performance and development of staff. The Operations Manager also assists administrators and leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives within their assigned area(s) and works with providers to maintain a clinical service delivery system that meets the clinical and financial objectives of the organization.
**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
**EDUCATION**
_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._
**Minimum Required:** Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration, or other healthcare related field; or an Associate degree/diploma in registered nursing, Associate degree in business administration, or Associate degree in healthcare administration. An Associate degree/diploma requires the obtaining of a Bachelor's degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration, or other healthcare related field within three years of starting in the position. An annual evaluation of coursework completed towards the Bachelor's degree will be required.
_Operations managers hired prior to March 1, 2019 may be grandfathered from meeting the new education requirements._
**Preferred/Optional:** Master's degree in nursing, business administration, healthcare administration, or other healthcare related field.
**EXPERIENCE**
**Minimum Required:** Three years of management experience; or two years of management experience with a Master's degree.
**Preferred:** Four years of management experience in a healthcare field.
**CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES**

This individual is accountable for daily operations, regulatory compliance, personnel management, budgeting, safety, and production of high quality lab information within the area of responsibility. **Responsibilities**
Facilitates patient visits and supports the health care provider by anticipating and responding to patient needs and requests of the health care team. Allows care providers to focus on patient care by coordinating details of patient visits, which can include: coordinating complex appointment schedules and daily activities of the care providers in a multispecialty medical practice, preparing patients, completing pre-examination record information, managing the flow of patient materials. **Qualifications**
High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience required, such as administrative, physician's office, appointment scheduler or retail/service industry. Requires computer skills including Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use with the ability to keyboard and navigate through multiple applications.
Associate's Degree and coursework in a healthcare related field is preferred (e.g., Administrative Clinic Assistant, Medical Office, Medical Assistant, Health Care/Medical Receptionist or comparable). Completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred. Exposure to electronic health record preferred. Ability to work independently, be goal-directed and have strong organizational skills. Effectively multitask without compromising quality.
