**Responsibilities**
**Purpose:**
The Machine Operator maintains machines to keep production running by performing low level maintenance and basic restarts.
**R** **esponsibilities** **:**
+ Provides continuous machine support by continuously monitoring secondary equipment for uptime efficiency and equipment safety.-Understands Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) impact to effectively communicate to Shift Leader repetitive breakdowns.-Resolves ongoing machine related problems (full bowls, closing machine restarts, grinder jams and color changes, purge removal from nozzle leaks).-Performs beginner-level preventative maintenance tasks (reparing coveryor, material jam, cleaning filters).-Performs material changeovers (ie, color changes, additives, etc.)-Supply materials to the presses.-Machine Operators are not authorized to perform start up after a set up."

**Qualifications**

+ 1 year of experience in manufacturing or injection molding, preferred

Distribution Branches are located in strategic locations throughout the country to provide service to key industries including universities and labs. Quality, reliability, and service are the key drivers that enable Airgas to grow with organizations who depend on dry ice and cold shipping supplies.
JOB SUMMARY: To provide the primary manual labor required to produce and package dry ice.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
* Loads and package dry ice on a daily basis in accordance with quality standards. Knows and complies with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
* Clean-up functions including, but not limited to, sweeping, washing, painting, trash removal and pick-up.
