Job Summary:
Participates with the Health Care Team in delivering quality health care to patients in a manner which reflects Kaiser Permanentes mission, vision, and values while supporting the Labor Management Partnership (LMP) principles and practice. Participates in accurate pre-operative briefing and time out. Provides continuous reassessment through the intra operative period.
+ Planning Standard of Performance: Utilizes knowledge of type of procedure to plan for appropriate set up. Obtains and demonstrates the skills and knowledge needed to provide age appropriate care to patients through education, training and experience.
+ Implementation Standard of Performance: Initiates appropriate measures based on protocol for the management of the intra- operative patient. Applies principles of aseptic technique. Evaluates sterile packs and supplies. Provides a well organized sterile area. Is aware of procedures progression and anticipates the needs of the team, observing sterile technique at all times. Performs all necessary procedures correctly to ensure patient safety intra operatively. Applies and assists with the principles of correct body alignment in positioning and transferring patients. Examines unused equipment and instruments for gross contamination and transports covered used instruments to utility room. Responsible for sterile core activities, able to prioritize duties: Completion of picking case carts, restocking, reordering supplies as needed, assisting with O.R. room needs as necessary. Assists with appropriate measures in emergency situations. Works in conjunction with Circulator in preparation for the next scheduled case. Initiates and facilitates room turnovers: Light housekeeping duties, procurement of equipment, supplies and X-Rays. Restocking of unused supplies and equipment. Participates in the reprocessing process.

The Data Center Engineering Operations Technicians (EOTs) are Amazon's front line responders for hands-on electrical and mechanical operations and troubleshooting. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchboards/switchgears, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems. They provide 24/7 shift coverage which could include 12 hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, generator, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center
- Troubleshoot facility equipment and rack-level events within internal SLAs
- Perform limited maintenance tasks to including filter changes, HVAC PMs, rack power installs, rack PDU, and rack ATS replacements
- Provide support to Data Center Operations technicians
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
- Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
- Write procedures
- Work a 12 hour shift (rotating 3 and 4 day work weeks days or nights)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log to include but not limited to temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.
- Utilize internal CMMS to manage building workflows and spare part inventory
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
- Respond to off hour emergency calls per on call rotation for any one of the region's sites
- Fully comply with all physical security procedures and policies

- Manipulate small wires and objects

The Opportunity
As part of the Information Technology Development team you are to lead the creation and implementation of impactful technology processes and business processes by creating automated workflows to replace manual workflows. As a Senior Manager you are to lead large projects, innovate processes, and maintain operational excellence while interacting with clients at a senior level to drive project success. You are also to serve as a strategic advisor, leveraging your specialized knowledge and technical acumen of industry-leading business trends, the firm's client service offerings, and professional industry networks to deliver quality results to clients and provide strategic input into the firm's business strategies.
