We're actively seeking a talented Oracle Expense Management Consultant to join our Enterprise Financials Solutions team in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Toronto, Canada. You'll play a key role in our global support structure, anchored on Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (EPBCS) and Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Services (EPCMCS). This is a liaison role, collaborating with key finance stakeholders and partnering alongside developers to deliver and maintain solutions enabling Business Insights and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Partner with business stakeholders: Understand and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.   • Technical Support: Provide first-line support for EPBCS and EPCMCS issues, before escalating to the MSP team if needed.Assist business SMEs in troubleshooting business rules, forms, allocations, SmartView reporting and more.
  • Technical Analysis: Assist with process mapping and workflow analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Solution Design: Drive fit/gap analysis and decision recommendation on solution design through exploration of options, prototyping, and bringing together representatives across business, functional and technical subject matter expertise.
  • Data Expertise: Understand system integrations and data quality processes, helping to ensure accurate data throughout associated systems. Provide guidance and expertise to business users analyzing data within reports.
  • Status Reporting: Support project management activities, including tracking progress, communicating blockers, and reporting on project status. Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather feedback, discuss challenges, provide training and promote collaboration between teams.
  • Testing and Validation: Assist in business testing and business validation of solutions, ensuring they meet the defined requirements and business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, Oracle releases, and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommendation Formulation: Develop and present recommendations based on thorough analysis and client interactions.

Responsible for the installation, development, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of package technologies. Includes defining or coordinating common processes or procedures to support package custom development, APIs, UI/UX, and process flows and handshakes.

We focus on transforming finance functions into dynamic capabilities, leveraging best-in-class solutions across finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as-a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP-enabled finance transformation.
Required Qualifications
Oracle EPM Implementation: Successfully completed at least two end-to-end implementation of a cloud-based Oracle EPM solution, including modules such as EPCM, EDMCS, EPBCS, and other components of the Oracle EPM Cloud Services Suite.
Consulting Experience: 6+ years of relevant consulting experience in a corporate environment or with a consulting firm.
Technical Skills: Experience in writing business rules and supporting technology implementation methodologies.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to interact with both business-oriented and IT-oriented clients.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients ~ industry sectors you serve.
Immigration: Limited sponsorship may be available.
Preferred Qualifications
ETL/Data Transformation: Knowledge or experience with ETL tools and databases.
Finance Processes: Understanding of finance business processes and corporate reporting requirements.
Scripting Skills: Experience in writing Groovy scripts.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry benchmarks and best practices.
Client Interaction: Ability to interact at all levels, build consensus, and foster change.
Engagement Management: Experience managing engagements or parts of larger projects.
Presales Activities: Involvement in presales, proposals, and RFP activities.
Analytical Skills: Superior analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Mentorship: Willingness to mentor and counsel junior staff.
