Responsibilities:

·         Implement automation across all layers - infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment, testing, and operation. 

·         Retool infrastructure to provide an agile foundation that provides joint infrastructure management and automation framework. 

·         Interface directly with staff members within the organization to discuss and assess compliance with IT policies, standards and procedures and suggest opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

Minimum Position Requirements: 

·         Documented network and system administration experience

·         Documented virtualization technology experience (e.g. VMWare, Linux, Windows, etc.)

·         Experience with source control using git and GitHub/GitLab repositories. 

·         Experience leading medium to large projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members. 

·         7+ years of experience in Infrastructure IT Operations. 

·         5+ years of software automation and development experience. 

·         2+ years scripting language experience. 

·         Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or Level II certification. 

·         Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation. 

·         Cloud Computing certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, AWS Associate Level Cert, etc.).

Summary:

The Cloud Engineer designs, deploys, and supports secure, scalable, and resilient cloud hosting environments.
