Opal Foods is currently accepting applications for the position of Shipping & Receiving for our Hathaway Processing Plant location. This position is primarily responsible for working in the cooler shipping palletized cartons and crates of our eggs to vendors and customers. During down-time will also work in the warehouse receiving product packaging and other supplies. May assist with other projects and duties as needed. Working hours include some weekend and holiday hours to meet customer requirements. Must have excellent work ethic and be extremely reliable and punctual.
Position Responsibilities:
- Set up work area and prepare packaging for the day
- Inspect, receive and document all incoming trailers for cleanliness, pests, odors and seals
- Load deliveries from cooler into trailers and from warehouse into trailers
- Set outgoing refrigerated trailers to the correct temperature
- Load and seal pre-cooled trailers with finished product
- Assign loads to drivers
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of cooler and warehouse
- Inspect, receive and document all incoming loads of packaging materials and supplies
- Unload deliveries into cooler and warehouse
- Check and document inventory daily in cooler and weekly in warehouse
- Operate electric pallet jack; drive fork lift
