The Material Handler I reports directly to the Material Supervisor and utilizes knowledge of design build electrical industry materials to perform logistics tasks such as receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the M.C. + Marking stock items using identification tags, stamps, electronic marking tools, and other labeling equipment.
+ Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
+ Determining proper storage methods based on stock location, turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of the facility.
+ Storing stock items in an orderly, safe and accessible manner within the warehouses, supply rooms, material storage and lay down areas.
+ Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, and subsequently reporting any damage to supervisors.

Education:

+ Must have demonstrated experience and proficiency with intermediate level MS Excel and Outlook.
+ Must have excellent reporting and tracking skills, along with a consistent record of accomplishment of accuracy, high productivity, professional level work ethic, and strict compliance with safety policies and procedures.
+ Must demonstrate competency with managing critical tasks individually such as controlling the consignment programs, tool management, managing the lay down area, and/or loading and unloading zones and various other individual responsibilities as assigned
Abilities:
+ The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to (50 pounds) on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Team Member to join our high-performing operations team. This role is ideal for individuals with proven experience in high-volume distribution environments, particularly with stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday
Shift: 3rd 11:00pm-7:00am
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming finished goods for accuracy and damage
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision and care
Operate stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and cycle counting
Comply with all company safety, quality, and operational procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 year of experience in a high-volume warehouse or shipping environment
Minimum 2 years of experience operating stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Comply and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines and regulations.
- Confirm accuracy of material being pulled and delivered to production bays.
- Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures.
- Address material shorts as requested.
- Assist with material reconciliations at job closeouts as requested.
- Safely operate any manual handling equipment required to perform responsibilities.
- Use proper stacking and pulling processes.
- Safely utilize ramp to load and unload materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Assist in the preparation of materials to be processed.
- Assist in the development of relevant processes and procedures.
- Safely utilize overhead cranes to handle spool piping, and to load and unload materials.
- Ability to perform tasks such as sanding and paint application by brush or roll.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
- Experience: None specifically required – Trained on Site!
- Computer Skills: None specifically required
- Certifications & Licenses: Valid driver’s license
- Other Requirements: Ability to pass forklift training; knowledge of piping materials (visual and descriptions)
