Overview

SUMMER 2026

Shure offers a challenging, fun and rewarding summer internship program. The twelve-week program is offered to undergraduate and graduate students. We offer internships with a variety of work arrangements from onsite interns to fully remote in US. Each intern will receive a competitive salary. Additionally, Interns who are asked to relocate to Illinois for onsite internships will receive a housing stipend to cover living expenses. Applications will be collected, reviewed, and selected candidates will be contacted in late fall/early winter.

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Intern will engage in various activities to help build out our change management function.

This internship has flexibility to be hybrid out of our HQ in Niles, IL or remote.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating on change management plans

  • Creating learning resources related to specific change initiatives
  • Collaborating on development of OCM tools for use by our leaders

Qualifications
  • In-process of a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in business, human resources, organizational change, organizational development, psychology or other related field

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Serve as the primary liaison between the internal program team and the customers and users during all phases of the migration to the DoDNet to improve the overall customer and user experience. Work closely with customers and users to understand their needs and proactively address issues.

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Job Description:**
+ Client is looking for an experienced change manager to join the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team that supports the Merchant Payment Services business within the Payments Merchant and Institutional division. The OCM team partners across the business to help manage the people side of change.
+ A successful candidate is someone who can use their expertise to ensure that our people are ready, willing, and able to adopt new changes that result from our technology, process, and organizational initiatives.
**Role Overview:**
+ Develop and manage comprehensive change management plans which include - change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communication planning, sponsor management, stakeholder education and resistance management
+ Develop, design and implement key messages and supporting communication material (presentations, training documents, talking points, videos, agenda etc.) and tie actions to outcomes
+ Establish/track metrics to measure change impact, define action plans to promote progress (iterative, incorporating feedback) and publish regular status/dashboards
+ Create reports at executive level on progress, value realization, key risks, and challenges
+ Act as a change agent by emphasizing and encouraging continuous improvement.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree, MBA or Master's Degree preferred
+ 7 or more years of experience in project or change management and leadership activities
+ 5 or more years people management experience
+ Prosci or comparable certification a plus
+ Project/program management experience
+ PMP or Agile certification a plus
+ Competent use of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
**Preferred Skills/Experience**
+ Management consulting expertise or a project-based consultative role within a corporate structure.
+ Proven ability to r implement solutions that improve performance of an organization
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively consult senior leadership and influence without authority
+ Strong business acumen and ability to tie analytics to business strategy
+ Strong understanding of change management methodologies and frameworks
+ Proven track record of driving effective change management programs across large teams in multiple types of projects including technology, process, and organizational change
+ Ability to effectively communicate the business value of Change Management
+ Expert knowledge of Payment Services
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated management and leadership skills
+ Strong leadership qualities such as negotiation, conflict management and influencing skills
+ Strong organizational and analytical skills
