**Position Summary:**
The Director of Organizational Effectiveness will lead the development and delivery of strategies, tools, and resources that strengthen how our businesses operate and adapt. This role within Corporate Talent Management will build out Thermo Fisher's Organizational Effectiveness capability and enabling our business to adopt the right operating models, organizational structures, and leadership practices that drive growth and performance.
Working closely with HR leaders and business executives, you will design and implement programs that enable teams to perform at their best, ensuring agility and alignment in an evolving global environment. As a trusted advisor and consultant, you will shape how Thermo Fisher approaches organizational design, team effectiveness, and change enablement-establishing the foundation for sustainable business success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Design and deploy scalable toolkits, frameworks, and resources that elevate organizational effectiveness, including recommendations for enabling technologies.
+ Partner with Talent Leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to build their capability through training, ensuring readiness before transitioning practices to self-service.
+ Establish measurement and feedback systems to capture business impact, cost savings, and vendor performance.

**Qualifications:**
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
+ 10+ years of HR/Talent Management experience with advanced expertise in organizational design, team effectiveness and change enablement.
+ Consistent track record of influencing and collaborating with senior leaders, through strong consulting, communication, and customer management skills.
+ Skilled facilitator and strategic advisor, adept at guiding organizational design decisions, building alignment, and driving adoption of new operating models.
+ Expertise in program development, project management, and large-scale implementation.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in an external consulting or industry role, with experience leading teams in organizational effectiveness and/or change management
- 10+ years of experience in developing and leading organizational effectiveness strategies that support large scale process/technology projects and/or transformational initiatives including organizational effectiveness and design

The estimated salary range for this role is $160-205K annually. This is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skillset and years and depth of experience. This may differ from location to location. **About the role:**
The Director of Organizational Effectiveness will serve in a key leadership role for advancing organizational performance and strengthening leadership and culture across the enterprise. This newly created role will be critical in aligning business goals with people strategies to drive change and transformation, as well as building capabilities throughout all levels of the organization.
The role reports into the Chief People & Culture Officer. At the moment, it would not have any direct reports, but will have a significant sphere of influence and need to collaborate within the People & Culture function.
This role will be responsible for building and executing our talent management approach - including performance, goal setting, functional and enterprise talent reviews and succession - to support an organization undergoing continued hyper-growth. This leader will play a critical role reading the organization for the future, helping to build new leadership and organizational capabilities.
The ideal candidate should have the following critical capabilities:
+ systems thinker and builder, with a proven track record of accurately diagnosing organizational dynamics and solutions;
+ designer of integrated programs and interventions, connecting them to overarching company strategies and improvement in engagement surveys;

**Overview**
THE ROLE:
The Senior Advisor, Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management will serve as a key role within the Talent Management organization, reporting to the VP of Talent Management. This newly created role will support the transition to a globally aligned Center of Excellence (COE) model by establishing comprehensive frameworks, methodologies, and processes for organizational effectiveness and design initiatives that integrate people, structure, process and technology solutions aligned with organizational strategies and objectives.
This position can be based in the Herbalife offices in either downtown Los Angeles, CA or Torrance, CA and will be required to be onsite 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday).
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
- Partner with senior business leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable organizational design solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams, regions, functions and support areas
- Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives throughout the enterprise by conducting organizational assessments to identify operating model gaps and areas for improvement relative to business needs and best-in-class practices
- Optimize operating model and organizational design to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all levels
- Determine globally consistent practices, processes, governance, organizational structures, and roles and responsibilities aligned with business objectives, evolving strategies, and corporate culture
- Embed AI‑first strategies into organizational effectiveness engagements, integrating generative AI to enhance and evolve business capabilities, processes, systems, and practices
- Operationalize and drive large-scale organizational transformation initiatives, ensuring successful implementation of strategies and established outcomes
- Enable and drive change management strategies related to organizational effectiveness initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in from stakeholders
- Build and establish comprehensive frameworks, methodologies, processes and tools for operating models, organizational design, change management, and workforce planning
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT THE TEAM:
The Herbalife HR organization and Talent Management organization is undergoing a transformation to shift from a regional/geographically aligned model to a global COE model, to support the enterprise change in the business operating model. This is a great opportunity to work with Talent, HRBP's and business leaders to evolve key areas of the Herbalife organization.
**Qualifications**
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in organizational design, organizational effectiveness, and change management, ideally within complex and/or global environments.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives-bringing structure, clarity, and lasting impact in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
- Background in strategic advisory or transformation work-whether from top-tier management consulting firms or equivalent in-house roles driving organizational change.
- Deep expertise in organization design, culture transformation, and change management, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills-able to build trust, influence outcomes, and present effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to collaborate across global teams, align diverse stakeholders, and drive impact in complex business environments.
- Skilled program and project manager, comfortable juggling multiple initiatives while delivering high-quality results.
- A flexible, action-oriented problem solver who thrives in ambiguous, evolving environments, and brings curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, HR, or related field
- MBA or Master's degree in related field a plus

As **Head of Organizational Effectiveness and Enablement, Group Service** you will lead and establish a function responsible for leading and executing all customer service projects including managing subject matter experts as well as strategic initiatives. You will partner with the business and technology leadership to review and prioritize initiatives, develop project plans, create business requirements, and drive successful outcomes on those initiatives. You will assist in leading continuous improvement and change management efforts, driving adoption and increasing effectiveness across Group Service.
You report directly to the Head of Service and Initiatives and will assist in developing the strategy and vision for the Group Benefits Service value-chain. You will work with Group Service leadership and other business partners to understand business and market needs and ensure we are supporting the Group Service Keys to Success, as identified in our target letter.
You will
+ Lead service's generative and agentic A/I strategies, increasing the customer experience and delivering expense savings
+ Maintain and improve existing call deflection, self-service, and proactive strategies, increasing adoption and effectiveness
+ Provide strategic direction and technical expertise for large scale, complex and critical initiatives across multiple processes
+ Provide change management leadership by developing strategies and roll out plans to enable leaders to effectively lead their teams through change
+ Champion and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the Group Service organization
+ Works with the Head of Finance, Group Claims and Service, and the Head of Workforce Planning to evaluate the financial and operational effects of completed strategies.

You have
+ College degree or equivalent work experience
+ 10+ years of work experience in Insurance, focusing on customer outcomes
+ 5+ years of leadership experience in driving critical initiatives or transformation within the group insurance industry
+ Analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
+ Creativity and thought leadership, comfortable with developing newly enhanced programs and structure, versus maintaining status quo
+ Ability to build effective relationships, influence others, and work effectively in a matrixed organization
+ Possess proven and effective leadership qualities and skills, with the ability to express and defend ideas and concepts
+ Ability to thrive, operate and influence in an environment of change
+ Excellent and resourceful relationship manager with the ability to influence and negotiate to desired business outcomes
+ Proven leadership skills and management experience with an ability to recruit, develop, inspire, and retain a high performing organization, and effectively deal with various personalities; this should involve a strong track record of continual performance improvement within the team
Location
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a Guardian office, preferably Boston, MA or Bethlehem, PA and 2 days working remote. There will be travel as needed.
**Salary Range:**
$129,500.00 - $212,750.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
