**Responsibilities:**
+ Design communication plans for programs/initiatives; distribute communications both verbally and in writing to leaders, staff, committees/task forces, external parties, etc.
+ Collaborate with multiple parties on establishing talent, change, and culture strategies, including Vice President, Learning & Development/HR Compliance; Director, Talent Management/Organizational Development; and other leadership stakeholders, up to the executive level.
+ Execute programs/initiatives in alignment with project plans and service-excellence standards.
+ Identify, design, and/or develop evidenced-based, leading-practice resources, tools, and technologies that support, complement, and/or sustain programs/initiatives.
+ Conduct needs analyses as applicable to ensure that programs/initiatives are designed to meet strategic goals and business objectives.
+ Collect data on programs/initiatives through a variety of methods. Conduct complex data analysis using appropriate statistical tools and approaches. Generate reports and dashboards. Translate key findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making. Distribute informative, concise conclusions and discuss recommendations with appropriate target audiences, up to the executive level.
+ Track and monitor departmental goals, objectives, and outcomes.
+ Remain updated on industry and functional trends through research, benchmarking, education, etc.
+ Provide strong operational support for programs/initiatives, including project plans, budgets, resource identification/allocation, and logistics. Serves as project manager for assigned programs/initiatives; may liaise with cross-functional teams and other project managers, particularly on technological initiatives.
+ Monitor programs/initiatives and recommend re-alignment as necessary to ensure program/initiative success; provide after-action reviews to identify successes, lessons learned, and improvements for future programs/initiatives.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Organizational Development, Human Resources or related field and 5 years of experience required in Human Resources, Talent Management, and/or OD.
+ OR High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of experience required in Human Resources, Talent Management, and/or OD required.
+ Masters Degree in HR, OD, or related field preferred.
+ Demonstrated knowledge in talent management, learning and development, and organizational development.

This is a hybrid role that has in-office requirements of two (2) days per week or eight (8) days per month.
The Affiliate Support and Nationwide Initiatives Department (ASNI) builds state capacity and strengthens the connections between the ACLU and its network of 54 state affiliates and their 1,500 staff members across the country. ASNIs work constitutes an unparalleled bulwark defending and advancing our civil liberties and civil rights. ASNI staff lead efforts to build program, build organizations, and drive resources to key battles across the country, positioning the nationwide organization for future challenges.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Senior Director for Affiliate Organizational Management, Equity and Inclusion , the Deputy Director for Affiliate Organizational Management, Equity and Inclusion serves as a strategic partner and second in command to the Senior Director. The Organizational Management, Equity and Inclusion team (OMEI) provides programming, resources, and technical assistance in areas of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB), restorative inclusion practices, change management, organizational development, leadership development, human resources, board governance, strategic planning, and organizational financial health.
YOUR DAY TO DAYThe Deputy Director will serve as a strategic partner to the Senior Director, supporting strategic planning, organizational development, change management, leadership growth, and institutional resilience for ASNI and its 50 affiliate organizations. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in organizational development, systems strengthening, and transformational change.
Strategy and Management Alignment
- With the Senior Director, lead OMEI strategy development, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and priorities.
- Lead OMEIs assessment and reporting process ensuring progress toward objectives and data informed decision-making.
- Partner with the ASNI Program and Strategy team to incorporate organizational, leadership, and change management best practices in their programs.
- Promote and build excitement for team programs across ACLU nationwide.
- Collaborate on the Nationwide Orientation, providing content about the teams programs.
- With the Senior Director, oversee team meetings, budgets, resource allocation, vendor management, document management and operational compliance.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and development of team members ensuring furtherance of EDIB and a culture of continuous feedback and learning.
- Ensure the institutionalization of the teams work within the Department and on the organizations knowledge-sharing platform and intranet, the HUB.
- Supervise staff, as assigned.
- Working collaboratively with Nationals Human Resources and EDIB teams, support consistent hiring practices and demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Affiliate Programs
- Support the Senior Director in devising, leading, and managing innovative efforts to cultivate excellence and build thriving and impactful affiliate resources and programming including Learning Communities, Strategic Planning, Organizational Development and change management.
- Manage the teams process and reporting cadence to ensure alignment to ASNI priorities, timely implementation of deliverables and inclusion of affiliate input at the early stage of new programs.
- Coordinate a strategic planning learning community for affiliates and affiliate consultants that centers key approaches and learnings from the Departments strategic planning toolkit;
- Track affiliate strategic planning processes and strategic plans; and, in general, promote an approach that integrates program priorities with long-term capacity-building in all aspects of organizational health and is coordinated with, and informed by, the work of the Departments Program and Strategy team.

Main Function
The purpose of the OCM Coordinator role is to ensure that all OCM aspects of the ASPIRE Deployment are considered, understood, and followed. The OCM Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the OCM deployment toolkit is adopted and all deliverables are completed. This role is in close contact with the global ASPIRE Diagnostics OCM team and is a local deployment team member. The OCM Coordinator supports the local/site deployment lead, the local functional leaders, and the affected employees in all aspects of Organizational Change Management for ASPIRE in managing and leading through the change.

- Oversees all OCM, communication and training activities
- Manages local stakeholder assessment and impact assessment

**How will you make an impact in this role?**
The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) is part of the Enterprise Data Management Program, a key component of our Technology organization. It focuses on delivering data products that fuel business growth and unlock value, while shaping robust data management strategies and governance solutions. EDO delivers critical data-related initiatives that accelerate ongoing digital transformation at American Express, enhance the overall customer experience, strengthen our data strategy and practices, and drive our continued growth.
American Express continues to invest in enterprise data management, and as part of the journey, we are seeking a Director to lead organizational change management and communications.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ **Change Impacts and Adoption Measurement** : Partner cross-functionally and Enterprise-wide to identify, assess and prioritize people, process, and technology changes due to the ongoing data management and governance transformation; define the KPIs and success metrics to measure adoption progress
+ **Stakeholder Analysis and Engagement** : Identify affected stakeholders across the Enterprise, and determine their needs from an organizational change standpoint; strategize engagement tactics to bring stakeholders along the data transformation journey
+ **Organizational Change Strategies and Planning** : Design leading practice strategies to achieve adoption objectives and regularly obtain feedback for ongoing iteration; create and implement the data organizational change roadmap while accounting for other Enterprise priorities / dependencies
+ **Communications Strategies and Planning** : Articulate the value proposition of the data transformation work underway; bring benefits of the transformation to life for Enterprise stakeholders; create a comprehensive plan in partnership with Enterprise stakeholders that outlines the right channels, audiences, and timing for delivery
+ **Culture Change Strategies:** Identify the long-term behavior and mindset shifts required to enable a culture of data stewardship and data risk management
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 8 years of experience in a leadership role focused on organizational change management and communications.
+ Experience in program management for cross-functional initiatives in large (e.g., Fortune 500) organizations.
+ Experience with stakeholder management and gaining consensus across various stakeholders.
+ Bachelor's Degree
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience gained at large US and / or global financial institutions; experience with and / or exposure to data management and governance is a plus.
+ Comfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity, using structure, influence, and prioritization to keep the work and team on track.
+ Experience managing critical and time-sensitive deliverables.
+ Detail oriented with a high degree of personal accountability; strong self-starter with an ability to autonomously multi-task and meet competing deadlines.
+ Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts in a manner consumable by a broad stakeholder base, including a senior executive audience.
+ Proven experience building and leading diverse, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams; extensive experience and success as a leader of leaders.

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
