The Department of Psychology in the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at Baruch College, a senior college of the City University of New York (CUNY), invites applications for a doctoral-level lecturer in Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychology to begin August 2026. This position is focused on expanding curricular and experiential learning opportunities for students in our undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and masters programs who are interested in careers related to Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Undergraduate students served by our faculty include those pursuing a General Psychology BA through the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, those pursing an I-O psychology BBA through the Zicklin School of Business, and those in our new (first class anticipated Fall 2026) Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program in Psychology, which has specialized tracks in both Counseling/Clinical and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Our Masters programs include a Masters of Science in I-O Psychology, Executive Masters in I-O Psychology and a Masters of Mental Health Counseling.
The teaching responsibilities of this position will include undergraduate-level research methods or statistics, introductory and advanced I-O courses, and a masters-level I-O research practicum. The service responsibilities of this position will include providing leadership and career development experiences for the I-O track of the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program.
Lecturer faculty are considered "master teachers" who occupy full-time faculty lines focused almost entirely on teaching and service (no research requirements). Mentoring and advising are considered central to this position. Service may also include serving on committees and contributing to projects and programs, particularly those related to teaching and learning. Lecturer faculty participate as full faculty members of the Psychology Department, the College, and the University. In their fifth year, lecturers are eligible for promotion to a Certificate of Continuous Employment (tenure-like status) based on teaching excellence and dedicated service.

**COMPENSATION**
$89,544- $97,860; commensurate with qualifications and experience
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.

The isolved HR Consultant is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and resolving HR related issues for customers and provide support to customer projects. HR Consultants are the backbone of the department, performing most customers' deliverables. Enhanced knowledge of isolved functionality is required. Core Job Duties
- Manage a queue of inquiries/requests/projects in support of the Defined HR team/clients.
- Provides client support advising on HR topics received via on‐demand phone and email support.
- Know when to escalate complex situations to HR Business Partners or Senior HR Consultants.
- Identify legal and governmental reporting regulations affecting HR practices and ensuring that customer policies, procedures and processes are in compliance.
- Maintain working knowledge of multi‐state employment law compliance to best serve all isolved clients.
