Essential Position Functions:
- Maintain spreadsheets and internal database to track important customer information and orders.
- Transfer data from client database to an internal database.
- Update customer information in a database.
- Organize existing data in a spreadsheet, client database, and internal database.
- Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
- Operate common office equipment, like computers, scanners and printers.
- Search for and investigate information contained in files.
- Perform regular database backups to secure data.
- Input text-based and numerical information from source documents.
- Provide occasional administrative support.

Under general supervision, performs front office processes associated with patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, referrals, and electronic medical records. 4. Collect patient responsibility payments, and answer routine patient insurance and billing inquiries.
5. Answer phone calls, confirm next day appointments, ensure insurance coverage, and alert patients as to what documentation is needed, including details associated with time-of-service payment schedules.
6. Gather, verify, and process referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications by working closely with physician(s), patients, and payers.
7. Coordinate scheduling with that of the practitioners' schedules to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and out-of-office calls.
8. Retrieve, file, and maintain charts and medical record documentation according to office protocol; coordinate copies
of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers.
9. Manage the flow of interdepartmental, outgoing, and incoming mail.
10. Communicate requests and provide medical information to and from patient care providers in strict accordance with HIPPA and all policies and procedures.
11. Follow up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy and send out the appropriate communications.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary
The Data Entry Resolution Specialist ensures the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of prescription information across Empower's pharmacy operations by identifying and correcting errors in real time. This high-impact role supports patient safety, operational efficiency, and compliance through swift issue resolution and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. More than just data entry, it is a mission-critical position that advances our vision of expanding access to high-quality, affordable compounded medications that help people live healthier, happier lives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Investigates and resolves prescription-related data discrepancies quickly and accurately, ensuring all records meet regulatory, operational, and quality standards.
- Applies advanced data management techniques to maintain the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of prescription data, enabling uninterrupted daily workflow across pharmacy operations.
- Works cross-functionally with Quality Control, Pharmacy, and Operations teams to identify trends, escalate issues, and recommend training needs that enhance data accuracy.
- Acts as a departmental problem solver-proactively addressing and correcting prescription concerns with a high sense of urgency, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Supports operational excellence by enforcing company procedures and contributing to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives that drive department-wide performance.

- CPhT - Required; Texas Pharmacy Technician License - Required; Lean or data-related training - Preferred.
