  • Drive chip trucks in accordance with traffic laws
  • Load and unload chip and byproduct and transport to destination
  • Hook and unhook trailers and operate chip dump
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping and meet dispatch schedules on time
  • Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
  • Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record and good work references
  • Preference given to applicants with commercial truck driving experience or educational equivalent

Our Team

The Wood & Fiber Supply organization is key to ensuring that GP's 80+ mills maintain a constant flow of logs, wood fiber, and chips.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure safe operation of production equipment, (e.g., chipper) and mobile equipment, (e.g., forklifts, loaders, and cranes)
  • Support the safety goals of the facility by ensuring a hazard-free work area
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment and make repairs as necessary
  • Work with other operators to meet the quality and production goals of the mill

What Youll Do:

  • Be the technical lead of a cross-functional team (hardware engineering, software developers, verification engineers) to define, design, simulate, fabricate and iterate a RISC-V Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) System on a Chip (SoC) product for defense and commercial applications based on our client's secure RISC-V CPU. The RTL already exists the major task is transferring that capability to a functioning, production-ready ASIC. Tasks ahead will follow the latest industry-standard design methodologies to finalizing the RTL code, synthesis, place-and-route and verification.
  • Be the primary technical interface with pilot customers, the internal engineering team and external subcontracted specialists to define and document product features, use cases, and functional requirements
  • Finalize and maintain the microarchitecture definition and associated documentation (complete ASIC specification, requirements and verification plan), including performance, I/O, power consumption, area utilization, recurring cost and security functionality
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive verification strategy including testbench development, functional verification and performance verification. Ensure the verification team has adequate coverage and highest probability of first-pass success.
  • Continuously evaluate new ASIC technologies, design methodologies for possible incorporation into the design.
  • Prioritize and schedule a product roadmap that defines the inclusion of technical features to align with timing of market need and competitive advantage
  • Decompose the product plan into actionable and trackable tasks, including design reviews and demonstrations that the team can execute to
  • Identify strategic partners to assist in the development, marketing, and sustainment of the product to augment internal capabilities

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have proven work experience designing and fabricating an ASIC
  • More than 8 years of ASIC design and architecture experience is required
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in ASIC product development
  • At minimum a BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong proficiency in RTL coding (Verilog or VHDL), ASIC design flow, and EDA tools
  • In-depth knowledge of ASIC architectures, including digital logic design, clocking methodologies, and low-power design techniques
  • Experience with industry-standard ASIC design methodologies (e.g., RTL synthesis, place-and-route, timing closure) and verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog)
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done

The Role:

In this SoC Security Architect role you will define the platform and SoC level technologies for a wide breadth of domains including but not limited to cryptographic HW functions, DRAM encryption, virtualization, isolation/sandboxing, life cycle management, secure boot & debug. In addition, you will work with SoC architects to influence chip architecture to maximize overall PPA efficiency while striving highest security assurance.

The Person:

The SoC Product Security Architect is a high-visibility role acting as the end-to-end platform security owner working with chip and system architecture teams to understand current threat models and define the security architecture aligning across AMD IP and SW security roadmap for CPUs, dGPU, datafabric and die-to-die communication as well as hypervisor designs and virtualization technologies.

In addition, the SoC Product Security Architect will coordinate with AMD Product Security Incident Reporting Team (PSIRT) to resolve security incidents for a given family of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and understand their use cases and requirements and fold that into platform security architecture requirements
  • Keep up to date with AMD IP and SW security roadmap for CPUs, GPU, datafabric and die-to-die communication as well as hypervisor designs and virtualization technologies.
  • Work with firmware, software, tools teams to understand how use cases are impacted by security policy
  • Deliver relevant security architecture specification sections to broader teams and define requirements for subsystem architects
  • Assess PPA trade-offs for various optimization proposals
  • Define boot and debug security architectures
  • Define device life cycle and key provisioning architectures
  • Deliver relevant security architecture specification sections to broader teams and define requirements for subsystem architects
  • Define a security architecture against the latest threat models
  • Implement security policies (soc register access, memory access, DRM content protection etc)
  • Review validation security test plans
  • Lead security policy violation debug

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong understanding of one or more security technologies like ARM TrustZone, Intel TXT, SGX and AMD SEV technologies
  • Deep understanding of threat models and security architecture in soc's
  • Strong experience working in SoC/ASIC design/validation/architecture
  • Strong system and computer architecture experience
  • Understand of GPU architecture is a plus
  • Familiarity with SoC security technologies for client and server spaces
  • Experience with architecture and design of HW cryptographic accelerators
  • Familiarity with Hypervisor designs and virtualization technologies
  • Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols
  • Good understanding of secure boot and firmware update technologies

Academic Credentials

  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science; 10 years of practical experience preferred
