This position is responsible for leading litigation strategy for a docket of commercial disputes, primarily in the areas of copyright and trademark law. As senior counsel, you will manage all aspects of threatened and actual litigation, including setting strategy, editing legal filings, managing discovery, supervising outside counsel, and collaborating closely with internal clients and partners. You will spot risks for remediation, identify emerging trends, and advise the company on legal rights and obligations. Exercising exceptional judgment and litigation skills, you will help the Company navigate a complex and changing legal landscape.
**What you'll do.**
+ Develop legal strategies for commercial litigation matters, primarily in the areas of copyright and trademark.
+ Retain and manage qualified outside counsel,
+ Set budgets and closely manage litigation expenses.
+ Provide actionable, clear, and timely advice to internal clients.
+ Recognize operational risks and work with stakeholders to remediate them.
+ Identify emerging litigation trends, spot issues across matters, and ensure consistency of positions.

+ Have at least five years of subject matter expertise in copyright and trademark litigation, including experience responding to demand letters and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
