PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Supply Chain Distribution Associate plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the supply chain distribution activities for 7 Brew Coffee. This role involves handling distributor communications, tracking financial transactions, auditing invoices, and troubleshooting supply-related issues to support the efficient functioning of our stand locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage weekly calls and communication with distributors
- Outline and review important changes, limited time offers and product updates with distributors
- Track billbacks and credits to ensure accurate financials
- Collaborate with Finance Department to resolve any discrepancies related to distributor or supplier transactions.
- Audit invoices for accuracy prior to payment.
- Work with suppliers and distributors to address and rectify any billing errors or inconsistencies.
- Resolve supply issues in a timely manner.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related work experience.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION :
- 3+ years of experience in foodservice distribution, supply chain management, or related/affiliated industry.
- Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting or similar role
- Experience in a multi-channel foodservice distribution network.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES :
- Knowledge of restaurant/retail operations, foodservice distribution/logistics systems, and supply chain management.
- Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while accomplishing team objectives.

**The role you'll contribute:**
This position will be responsible for receiving incoming supplies and equipment and handling the supply replenishment process of par locations. Receiving responsibilities include: putting away supplies in the storeroom, scanning receiving documents, delivering supplies to departments, handling returns to supplier, tagging equipment, and completing all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping. The supply replenishment process includes straightening, counting, picking, and stocking supplies for specific areas then completing any paperwork or computer software tasks needed to account for inventory movement. The Supply Chain Receiving and Distribution Techs serve as the materials gatekeepers for their hospital, ensuring the facility only pays for items that are actually received and are the representatives of the supply chain to nurses and other clinicians in their assigned areas.

Picks up return items following established guidelines. Performs daily par cart inventories, picks order, confirms orders, and delivers supplies to assigned par areas. Provides feedback on par level adjustments to supply chain leadership.

The Supply Chain Technician performs physical and inventory-related tasks in supply chain logistics involving receiving, storage, delivery and replenishment of supplies and equipment used throughout the hospital campus to promote a clinically-integrated supply chain.
1. Follows established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards.
2. Responsible for checking expiration dates, stock rotation and removal of excess inventory in managed inventory locations.
3. Orders, delivers and stocks supplies for assigned departments as scheduled, maintaining proper par levels and storage space on shelves. Accountable for reporting to supervision needed adjustments to inventory and par levels according to utilization.
4. Promotes teamwork and collaboration with co-workers, customers and leadership to problem-solve and promote innovative solutions to provide the right product at the right time at the right place.
5. Processes and delivers supply and equipment requests. Uses good judgment in responding to requests for specific patient items and determines the best method and timing of delivery; i.e., routine vs. stat.
6. Unloads, inspects and checks material and supplies arriving at the dock; noting special storage or handling instructions. Maintains appropriate documentation for tracked items; i.e., tissue.
7. As directed, enters patient charges and orders/documents using appropriate vendor websites as applicable.
8. Collaborates with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.

10. Handles all facets of outbound shipments in a cost effective manner, documenting applicable RGA and tracking information, while ensuring that all shipments are timely as required by our customer.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills: Must have knowledge of Windows-based computer programs and the capacity for learning specialized software programs. Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries. Must have effective interpersonal, oral and/or written communication skills. Must be able to frequently, occasionally with assistance, move, lift, or carry very heavy materials and equipment.
License: Must maintain a good driving record to operate company vehicles as required by applicable business unit.
