Key Responsibilities:

• Building and refining closed-loop control models in MATLAB/Simulink and auto- of production-ready C code.
• Tuning digital compensators (PI/PID, state-space, predictive) for high-bandwidth control
• Writing, optimize, and document bare-metal C for TI C2000 and other 32-bit MCUs.
• Developing low-level drivers (ADC, PWM, timers, SPI, IC, UART, RS-485, CAN, Ethernet) with deterministic execution and interrupt-safe design.
• Implementing high-resolution PWM strategies for hard-switched.
• Interfacing firmware with gate-driver, current-sense, voltage-sense, and isolation circuitry
• Characterizing converter efficiency, thermal performance, and dynamic response; iterate based on oscilloscope/logic-analyzer captures.
• Designing 2- to 4-layer PCBs in Altium for mixed-signal and high-voltage layouts
• Bring-up and debug prototypes with oscilloscopes, isolated differential probes, power analyzers, and high-bandwidth current probes.
• Authoring automated Python/LabVIEW scripts for regression tests and production programming.
• Generating detailed electrical specs, BOMs, and test plans; contribute to UL/IEC/CE compliance documentation and patent filings.
• Leading design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and interface with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve DFM/DFA issues.
• Supporting field-failure analysis and sustainment engineering for products in volume production.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field, Master's degree a plus.
• Three to five years experience in Power Electronics Engineering
• Circuit modeling and simulation experience (MATLAB, Simulink, Python)
• Experience with Texas Instrument microcontrollers, C2000
• Experience with hardware design and schematic capture tools
• Experience working with real-time operating systems
• Experiencing working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C
• Exposure to Python programming

Summary : This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble components.

• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.

accurately and consistently in English.Experience in stand-alone testing of electronic boards.Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing/remanufacturing environments •Strong communication and team development skillsAbility to manage production scheduling and coordinate cross-functional activitiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Experience in electronics new manufacturing/remanufacturing work environments.Familiarity IPC, recent IPC training, and ESD requirements.Skilled board level testing, troubleshooting and use of stand-alone internal equipment.Background in electronics production or prior military electronics experience.Familiarity with Microsoft OS, HyperTerminal, Pro-comm, or Tera Term software for testing.Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to receive, implement feedback and adapt process, procedural or behavioral changes as needed.Strong analytical skills for production data interpretationProficient in Microsoft Office and Oracle systemsCapability to lead operational excellence initiativesWhat will your typical day look like?Duties and Responsibilities:Perform functional tests on products at the sub-assembly and final assembly level, strategically coordinating team efforts to maximize efficiency.Troubleshoot and repair failed products or subassemblies to the board level, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.Identify root cases and apply preventative measures while fixing the product, developing team-wide improvement strategies.Follow the ESD (Electric Static Discharge) and IPC (Institute for printed circuits), processes and procedures to perform board level re-work of component exchange, ensuring team-wide compliance and training.Conduct test based on written procedures, verify current revision levels, and visually inspect product for appearance and workmanship prior to the final approval, managing overall team quality standards.Repair and replace electronic components, using through-hole, SMT component repairment, hot air or traditional soldering methods, demonstrating best practices to team members. •Locate and interpret product documentation, including schematic drawings, and share knowledge across the team.Meet quality standards in line with internal quality assurance requirements, AAR and FRA protocols, leading team performance improvement.Complete daily work orders/schedule based on productivity levels, coordinating and optimizing team performance.Adapt to changing priorities based on customer demands, guiding team through transitions.Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed in a timely manner, ensuring team-wide equipment readiness.Monitor and manage chemical shelf life, implementing tracking systems for the team.Willing to cross-train and support other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements, leading safety awareness and compliance.Keep the work area clean and organized on a daily basis, implementing and monitoring 5S protocols.Perform other duties as assigned, with a focus on team development and operational excellence.Lead production activities, implement continuous improvement projects and support implementation of new technologies within the production lines.Communicate production stratifies and objectives fostering team development and task completion.Provide coaching, feedback and training to develop the electronics' department team members.Manage workorder scheduled for electronics technicians, execute safety and regular meetings to ensure alignment and adequacy of production levels.Manage shop floor activities, including finished goods material and equipment to meet production schedules and KPIs.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and lead by example to ensure good business results.Assist the team on technical questions and problem solving while fostering a positive organizational culture.Physical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
