The salary range offered for this role is USD $187,565 - $267, The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The Global Safety Head (GSH) is the most senior safety expert reporting to the Global Patient Safety Therapeutic Area (TA) Head Oncology and acts at the disease/strategy area-level for a portfolio of non-clinical, clinical, and marketed assets and is a member to the Franchise Team (if applicable).
The Global Safety Head is accountable for all safety aspects of the assigned asset or portfolio of assets in Oncology, as well as the scientific and clinical safety strategies for the Target Product Profile (TPP), Clinical Development Plan (CDP), submissions, core product information, risk management commitments, risk mitigation, including toxicity management, and communication. The GSH also provides safety input into the overall project strategy across the lifecycle.
The GSH line manages a team of Global Safety Program Leaders and, if required, safety physicians and / or scientists.
You will be responsible for:
Clinical Safety Leadership
- Sets safety goals aligned to TA and asset strategy.
- Leads the project-specific safety strategy.
- Contributes to the overall asset strategy.

You will need to have. The following essential success criteria should be demonstrable at the portfolio level:
- Medical degree or equivalent degree in biomedicine or science
- Minimum of 8 years or equivalent extensive relevant clinical, safety and risk management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO industry, academia or Health Authorities
- Direct experience with global regulatory filing and interacting with major regulatory agencies e.g., FDA advisory Committees, Scientific Advice, etc.
- Knowledge of relevant pharmacovigilance legislation and GxP requirements.

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $323,216 to $484,824. About You and The Role
We're searching for a dynamic Head of Flight Safety to join our US Operations Team who can play both a strategic and tactical role—embedding safety into the design and execution of operational activities. You will lead the evolution and management of our Safety Management System (SMS), risk mitigation strategies, incident response, and operations specific safety leadership. As the Head of Flight Safety, you will report to the Director of Flight Operations and be responsible for ensuring a safety assurance mindset is proactively built into all operational processes and procedures, helping the company scale efficiently while maintaining compliance across Part 91, Part 107, and Part 135 operations.
This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role that plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, scalable, and compliant operation across all commercial delivery and flight test operations. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in aviation safety, manned or unmanned systems, and the integration of automated technologies within a regulatory framework. This position will work with operations, engineering, product development, and regulatory teams to integrate safety principles at the test stage of new operational processes as well as react to risks and incidents in real-time as needed.
The ideal candidate is a qualified manned pilot with formal part 121 or part 135 or military experience and has a deep understanding of safety management systems, safety assurance principles, and is passionate about all things airspace. **Minimum Qualifications**

+ Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) certification.
+ CPR certification.

Longevity Increases - In accordance with the specific pay schedule, a full-time merit or classified employee may receive a longevity increase, equivalent to one step, upon completion of a certain number of years of classified service with the County.

Health Insurance
Health Insurance benefits elected become effective the first day of the month following the date of hire if the employee has completed online enrollment prior to that date. New employees must enroll within thirty (30) calendar days of hire. Plans offered include:

Flexible Spending Accounts

Responsibilities
Shawmut is a proven leader in creating accident free work zones, and this person will continue Shawmut's success in creating a safe construction environment by working as part of the larger safety team, drawing on past experience and always looking for new, improved safety methods.
- Provide structure around site safety with superintendent and subcontractors
- Raise awareness of potential hazards that exist on a jobsite with owner by reviewing what can be done to minimize risk
- Conduct regular safety audits throughout the duration of a project assessing all safety related issues and follow up with the project team
- Assist subcontractors with site safety needs via tool box talks, safety check lists, job hazard analysis, etc.
- Communicate directly with subcontractors to discuss concerns and Shawmut's expectations
- Maintain the information technology and systems that are essential to capture and analyze key data, present reporting and communicate effectively
- Develop and maintaining strong relationships with every member of the project team, subcontractors and clients
- Conduct new hire safety orientations

Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related experience preferred
- Prior safety or construction-related internship a plus

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

- Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Have experience working in local government delivering a health and safety function across corporate and educational settings,

- Hold an interest in the topics of fire safety and / or construction safety are desirable.
- Have the ability to travel Countywide.
