In addition to coverage of publicly traded companies, the team regularly vets a number of private device companies for potential IPOs.
The candidate for the position should be intellectually curious and have a deep desire to learn. Although neither a basic science or direct medical background is required, it is very desirable as it shortens the learning curve and facilitates communication with companies and clients. Given the team's heavy vetting load and fast-paced nature of the medical device information cycle, the candidate should also have some experience with financial modeling and quantitative analysis, as well as strong verbal communication and writing skills.
The ideal candidate possesses experience in Healthcare sell-side research or healthcare investment banking with a medical degree or medical or industry background. Medical areas of experience that are most valuable would be cardiovascular interventional medicine and diabetes.
The candidate will work alongside Senior Analysts and Associates in all aspects of the research process, from idea generation to modeling, including but not limited to the following:

Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all

**Responsibilities**
We're seeking an experienced Medical Equipment Manager with 7+ years experience and prior Asset Management expertise to oversee the complete life cycle of all medical devices across Acute Care Hospitals and Ambulatory Clinics. Be accountable for the internal Technical Assessment Process for all medical equipment. **Key Responsibility 3: Process & Governance**
Develop and implement standardized processes that align with the organizational structure. This includes the creation of a formal RACI matrix for equipment management, requiring sign-off from key stakeholders.

Lead team activities across functional groups without direct supervisory reports. Use data from Claroty and operational throughput to build a recommendation for optimal team size to meet business requirements.
**Key Responsibility 5: Security & Compliance**
Partner directly with the internal security team to manage and document remediation efforts for all security vulnerabilities in medical devices, tracking documentation within Claroty.
**Key Responsibility 6: Procurement & Budgeting**

**Preferred Experience and Certifications**
+ Minimum 7 years of experience in clinical engineering, biomedical technology, or medical equipment management. Prior Asset Management experience is highly preferred.
+ Bachelor's degree preferred in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
+ Certification as a Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is highly preferred.

**Job Title:** Medical Equipment Technician
**Location:** Grand Rapids, MI
**Pay Range: 19 an hour**
**Shift:** Monday through Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of bio-medical equipment, including life support ventilators and respiratory devices.
+ Perform regular preventive maintenance checks, repairs, and updates to ensure equipment safety and performance standards are met.
+ Verify the functionality of equipment after service to ensure reliability and accuracy.
+ Maintain detailed records of all services, tests, and repairs conducted.
+ Stay current with the latest developments and best practices in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
**What's Needed?**
+ Relevant technical certification or credential (credential ID: ).
+ Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting biomedical equipment.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
