Law Bulletin Media is a diversified information company serving the legal, real estate and financial markets. We are seeking a dedicated Subscription Coordinator to be part of our growing team!
Position Summary:
The Subscription Coordinator (SC) is responsible for managing and marketing subscriptions for many of our products including Lawyerport, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, Chicago Lawyer magazine, Chicago Law Journal and Sullivan’s Law Directory. The SC works directly with customers and collaboratively with the broader Lawyerport sales team to maintain and increase subscriptions to our digital and print products. The SC also maintains our subscription database and assists with the distribution of our digital and print products. The SC is part of a broad sales and customer support team that work together to manage customer relationships and ensure we are delivering on customer expectations. The Subscription Coordinator reports to the Customer Support Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Assist subscribers to ensure that they have appropriate access to digital products and are receiving print publications in a timely manner.
- Maintain the circulation database by regularly entering and updating subscriber information.
- Manage digital subscriptions in Lawyerport.
- Oversee the renewal and billing processes to ensure timely payment by subscribers.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on the status and trends of subscriptions.
- Maintain distribution lists for our various email products.
- Assist in the creation and management of marketing campaigns for our products.
- Assist in the management of Law Bulletin Media events.
- Research Lawyerport profiles and input updates.
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: B.A. with a marketing focus preferred.
- 2-3 years in marketing, customer service or related field for B2B business.
- Subscription management system or CRM experience preferred.
- Familiarity with legal industry, lawyers and law firms preferred.

- Excellent communication skills – both oral and written – in a professional and courteous manner.
- Proven experience with video/telephone communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, and experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook required.

The Subscription Engineering Manager is responsible for delivery of meaningful applications working with product and engineering teams, as well as stakeholders and business owners. As a manager, you will be leading engineers who support a digital environment focused on delivering value for Ford and its customers.
What you'll do.
- Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software solutions using various tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies and technologies
- Work on continuously improving platform performance and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Manage and grow software engineers by providing regular mentorship, career coaching, and performance feedback
- Engage with customers to deeply understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements
- Evaluate and provide feedback on requirements, product designs, and architectures with a software engineering focus and a perspective on feasibility
- Own the responsibility of quality and security within the engineering delivery pipeline, while improving transparency, metric collection, and time to resolution
- Socialize and lead the adoption of software craftsmanship engineering principles and practices to improve the organization
- Establish relationships and knowledge sharing for partners, stakeholders, and teammates to eliminate siloed, duplicate, or conflicting solutions
- Support an environment that enables continuous improvement and contribute to establishing a learning organization
You'll have.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- 6+ years of experience on programming and design patterns; proficient knowledge in Java, testable feature development, and delivering meaningful code reviews
- 4+ years of experience leading agile teams and delivering software products to market under strict timelines and enterprise-wide impact
- 4+ years of experience with software operations (Source Management, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Observability, Support and maintenance)
- 2+ years of experience with technical planning and solution architecture

- Previous experience scaling applications and infrastructure
- Previous experience in design and development leveraging agile and lean methodologies, as well as maturing a strong waste-free and predictable delivery practice
- Experience in managing cross-functional technical design and delivery dependencies across complex systems
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Cooperation with product and business owners in developing user journeys, roadmaps, and delivery plans

This position is a range of salary grade LL6. SOUTHEAST MI RESIDENTS: This role is posted as remote unless you reside within 50 miles of Dearborn, MIin which case we request on-site presence up to 4 days a week. This role supports the Customer Care team by resolving subscription-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting users across platforms such as RQI, TruCorp, vSim, DocuCare, HeartCode, SimX, and others.
Success in this role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The specialist collaborates closely with internal teams, sales, management, and external vendors to ensure smooth onboarding and effective license management using backend systems.
Responsibilities:
Customer Support & Technical Assistance
- Provide expert support, training, and guidance to internal and external customers via email, chat, and phone.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to digital platforms, license verification, service disruptions, and account access.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Lead onboarding and training for digital tools such as vRClinicals and Scenario Cloud.
- Own the implementation process for RQI Pro-Ed and Pre-Hospital segments, including:
- Order entry coordination with the Contracts team.
- Scheduling and leading customer-facing implementation meetings.
- Managing work plans through to completion in collaboration with RQI-P, RQI Impact Managers, and the Gatesville support team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions and resolutions.
- Recommend improvements to products, systems, training, and documentation based on customer feedback and support trends.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to drive enhancements and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Partner with internal teams, sales, and third-party vendors to resolve complex issues and improve support processes.
- Attend team and stakeholder meetings as required.
- Meet or exceed KPIs related to customer satisfaction, response times, resolution rates, and communication quality
- Adapt to evolving business needs and customer demands while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or help desk support.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, and web navigation.
