What You’ll Do:

• Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for HVAC, cleanroom systems, utilities, and building infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA, and EHS regulations.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and manage vendor relationships.
• Optimize budgets, spare parts inventory, and asset performance.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime.
• Drive sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Respond to facility emergencies and maintain readiness protocols.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

• Bachelor’s in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in regulated manufacturing (medical devices, biotech, pharma).
• Expertise in HVAC, BAS, cleanroom systems, and CMMS.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in medical device or cleanroom environments.
• CFM, LEED AP, or similar certifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and CAPA processes.

Working Environment:

• On-site role in a cleanroom and controlled manufacturing facility.
• Physical activity required (lifting, climbing, inspections).
• Occasional after-hours emergency response.

As the Facilities Specialist you are responsible for the general maintenance of 70 Pine. You will help maintain the integrity of the general aesthetic and work through the daily responsibilities of the maintenance department. You will work closely with the Porters to support set up for Private Events. The Facilities Specialist will complete general repairs for the space and equipment ranging from unskilled to skilled projects. 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have 2 years + experience in a fast paced NYC restaurant in a similar position 
• Must be able to lift & a carry at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing)
• Must have full schedule availability
• Must be able to take constructive criticisms and work well in a team dynamic

MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the function of all internal building systems including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, waste management, HVAC and gas
• Upkeep the aesthetics of the building. Including but not limited to painting, general repairs, and general improvements
• Manage inventory of tools, facilities materials & supplies
• Work with the Facilities Director to keep operations compliant with all local rules and regulations including DOH, FDNY, DOS and DOT
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Report all complaints and issues involving staff or guests to Human Resources

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Facilities Schedules in coordination with the CDC & within budget guidelines
• Approve Facilities Time Cards
• Approve & schedule Facilities PTO

• Position is subject to responding to emergency calls on nights and weekends as required by the Supervisor and Lead Hand

• The role is required to work inside and outside in various conditions

• The role is required to work at heights, confined spaces, and any other areas work is required

• Must service driven as the role works with all departments throughout CN

• Must be safety conscious and capable of ensuring a safe working environment for employees and contractors

• The role requires working away from home for extended periods of time

• The incumbent must be available to work overtime when necessary

• Must have valid or be willing to acquire a Driver's License

• Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings for various types of repair work, maintenance, project work and troubleshooting

• Must have a good working knowledge of power distribution and emergency power systems including high voltage
