Job Description

We are looking for a highly capable Sr. Analyst, Business Process Outsourcing to join our team and work from our Richmond, VA office. We work together in the office five days a week in order to strengthen our culture, build team connections, and drive profitability. This position reports to a manager based in Richmond, VA as well.

This position is 100% on-site.

The successful applicant will join a team focused on delivering maximum value for internal business customers through the provision of outsourced, automated, and shared services. In this role, you will maintain excellent standards of customer service through the management and delivery of outsourced and in-house support services across various Argo lines of business and functions.

You will work with Argo business stakeholders as an escalation point and operations contact to ensure that critical functions are completed on time and accurately. You will identify areas where process improvement, outsourcing, and/or automation can help meet business goals.You will evaluate, analyze, and report out on performance to Service Levels, Expenses, and value creation. You will be a key contact for our outsourcing and automation partners, bridging communication and process rollouts between the Argo business unit and our outsourcing/automation partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a process owner for tasks directly supporting Argo's insurance operations, directly handling said tasks, serving as an escalation point for offshore teams, and/or evaluating the accuracy and completeness of tasks by other teams.
  • Oversee and/or perform several cross-functional operational functions including compliance activities, audit projects, and application maintenance/testing.
  • Provide direct operational support to internal business groups, including outsourced and automation performance, internal operations processing, IT escalations, and reporting.
  • Work directly with external Argo partners to troubleshoot, improve processes, and deliver results to Argo business units.
  • Support the creation and refinement of process maps and Standard Operating Procedures with outsourcing partner. Work directly with internal business customers to build, review and update such materials as required.
  • Effectively communicate across multiple levels of Argo management, vendor contacts, and all key stakeholders within relevant support areas to influence and drive efficiency, performance, and process excellence.
  • Ensure that Quality Controls are in place. Perform root cause analysis where quality issues occur.
  • Provide appropriate channels for exception routing, query resolution, and business feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-4 years of experience in insurance underwriting operations.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite including strong skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, Graphs, etc.)
  • Experience in data entry, compliance, reporting, and other support activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize competing demands.
  • Team spirit, enthusiasm, and ability to cooperate with others to accomplish goals.

Essential Functions
  • Monitor and process trades for all security types according to client instructions and custody vendor reports.
  • Accurately post income to trust accounts when notified by custody vendor that money has been received.
  • Perform reconciliations, on various frequencies, of client cash and securities custodial accounts.
  • Setup and maintain securities on the MAUI trust accounting system.
  • Assist in developing and updating procedures to ensure accuracy, usability and efficiency.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to banks that are outsourced.
  • Post recurring cash transactions as instructed by the outsourced bank.
  • Communicate wire and settlement amounts to the outsourced bank.
  • Download, import and export data to various third parties on behalf of the outsourced bank.
  • Monitor securities for pricing exceptions and communicate as needed to the outsourced bank.
  • Prepare fee-related reports to the outsourced bank and update fees as instructed.
  • Maintain and build reports within the MAUI trust accounting system for use by staff of Infovisa Wealth Services and the outsourced banks.

You would be part of Meta's Strategic Sourcing organization within Finance. Strategic Sourcing is responsible for end-to-end sourcing, market and spend analysis, contract negotiations, professional services and purchases. The Sourcing Manager will work closely with business teams across Meta and its affiliates to develop and execute sourcing, contracting and purchasing strategies to drive business objectives. This position will be supporting global projects, and may require traveling internationally.
**Required Skills:**
Strategic Sourcing Manager - Outsourcing Responsibilities:
1. Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Meta to strategically develop, implement and optimize outsourcing/sourcing and vendor management solutions for Generative AI (GenAI) data annotation and data collection vendors
2. Actively identify, track and manage issues and risks for projects
3. Identify, develop and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement and category management practices
4. Prepare and manage sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work and related procurement documents. Drive legal, financial and technological aspects of outsourcing programs
5. Lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company
6. Ensure program success through effective performance management and governance methodologies, in collaboration with the business
