**About the Role:**
Liquid I.V. is looking for a Principal Packaging Engineer to lead the strategy and execution of innovative, scalable, and sustainable packaging solutions across our growing product portfolio. This individual will serve as the technical authority in packaging innovation - bringing deep expertise in materials science, design for sustainability, manufacturing, and commercialization. As a thought leader within the organization, the Principal Packaging Engineer will guide long-term packaging development strategies aligned with innovation and sustainability goals.
**Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:**
+ Innovation
+ Scout for new packaging materials to expand LIV product formats.
+ Research, evaluate, and qualify cutting-edge packaging materials, vendors, and technologies while balancing sustainability, cost, and performance.
+ Own end-to-end development: design, prototype, test, validate, and commercialize packaging systems across primary, secondary, and tertiary formats.
+ Manage new product launches from concept through commercialization with a cross-functional team including Project Management, Product Development and Operations. Stay informed and educate the team of category, brand and competitive packaging trends and dynamics.
+ Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, about emerging business opportunities, technology capabilities and technologies.
+ Sustainability
+ Provide technical expertise on sustainable materials, packaging formats, and life cycle assessment (LCA), guiding key business decisions.
+ Contribute to Sustainability Reporting, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and external communications related to Packaging.
+ Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to future-proof Liquid I.V.'s packaging strategies.
+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert with a passion for knowledge-sharing while actively identifying and assessing opportunities to advance Unilever Sustainable Packaging goals.
+ Commercialization
+ Co-create and execute technical strategy for next generation packaging platforms with a focus on sustainable, cost-effective, and high-performance solutions.
+ Collaborate with suppliers, co-manufacturers, co-packers, and Unilever Center of Excellence (COE) sites to scale and commercialize packaging solutions.
+ Guide development of packaging specifications, testing protocols, and tooling documentation across all packaging formats including flexibles, cartons, corrugate, rigids, etc.
+ Identify and lead implementation of cost savings and packaging efficiency initiatives.
+ Provide production technical guidance to our manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams, which involves identifying process challenges and gaps, recommending technical solutions, and following through to successful completion and resolution.
+ Identify areas of opportunities and provide simple ideas for expanding value/profits and driving continuous improvement to the business.
+ Possess a strong sense of leadership to accomplish Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and be able to manage projects independently or in a team environment.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Material Science/Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
+ 10+ years of experience in CPG R&D Packaging Development with a Bachelor's degree, or
+ 8+ years with a Master's degree
+ Minimum 3 years in a senior or lead packaging development role
+ Advanced research in novel materials to further sustainability goals
+ Proven success in developing and commercializing packaging in multiple formats to drive business growth including flexibles, cartons, corrugate, and rigids
+ Deep knowledge of sustainable materials, circular design, and recyclability standards
+ Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead complex, multi-phase projects
+ Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus
+ Strong working knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality assurance principles, specification development, product commercialization & scale ups (eg. CQV)
+ Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
+ Experience using pallet software TOPS or CAPE
+ Strong organizational & teamwork skills, ability to prioritize/multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously

The expected salary range for this position is $123,000 - $184.600 annually and is bonus eligible. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager of Product Packaging to join our Merchant Import Operations team. This role will be responsible for establishing and managing packaging processes, ensuring quality control standards, and driving cost savings through packaging engineering and process optimization. The Manager of Product Packaging will also play a key role in the company's compliance with the new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) law. This individual will create a process for buyers to approach them for all packaging-related needs, develop a comprehensive library of packaging standards, and serve as the subject matter expert for packaging and quality control of the production of the packaging. **Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Create and Maintain Packaging Standards Library:**
+ Develop a comprehensive library of agreed-upon packaging standards, materials, and specifications that can be referenced by buyers and vendors.
+ Continuously update the library as new packaging technologies, materials, and trends emerge.
**Develop Packaging Process & Workflow:**
+ Establish a streamlined process for buyers to request packaging support, including production and quality control needs.
+ Develop clear guidelines for packaging approval processes, ensuring that packaging meets all requirements for production, safety, quality, and sustainability.
**Educational Materials & Manuals:**
+ Create and maintain an educational manual for buyers that includes packaging guidelines, best practices, sustainability considerations, and cost-reduction strategies.

**Collaborate** **with Key Stakeholders:**

Broadcom is seeking an experienced IC package-design engineer for complex flip-chip-BGA packages for industry-leading ASICs with high-speed SerDes and very-high-power delivery needs. You will be part of a worldwide R&D team developing high-performance package designs for ASICs for artificial intelligence (AI), networking, high-performance computing (HPC), and 5G base stations. These designs include SerDes at 224G and higher, 5G RF/Microwave ADC/DAC, HBM, DDR5 and more. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with the team to create the package structures needed to enable new design, and contribute to efficiency improvements for our design team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Overall design responsibility for ASIC package designs, including aspects of signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, reliability, and thermal, in partnership with our experienced team of package engineering experts.
+ Package Design of critical structures for SerDes, ADC/DAC, DDR, etc.
+ Schedule, prioritize, & track your work across 2+ projects simultaneously
+ General flip-chip BGA package design & engineering

+ Cadence APD (allegro package designer) experience is preferred. Equivalent tool is OK.

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,300 - $226,000.

**Job Description:**
Broadcom is seeking an experienced IC package-design engineer for complex flip-chip-BGA packages for industry-leading ASICs with high-speed SerDes and very-high-power delivery needs. You will be part of a worldwide R&D team developing high-performance package designs for ASICs for artificial intelligence (AI), networking, high-performance computing (HPC), and 5G base stations. These designs include SerDes at 224G and higher, 5G RF/Microwave ADC/DAC, HBM, DDR5 and more. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with the team to create the package structures needed to enable new design, and contribute to efficiency improvements for our design team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Overall design responsibility for ASIC package designs, including aspects of signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, reliability, and thermal, in partnership with our experienced team of package engineering experts.
+ Package Design of critical structures for SerDes, ADC/DAC, DDR, etc.
+ Schedule, prioritize, & track your work across 2+ projects simultaneously
+ General flip-chip BGA package design & engineering
+ Project management and customer interface for your design projects
+ Contribute to efficiency improvements for the design team, through process development/improvement, automation, documentation, etc.
+ Physical design (layout) is a foundational responsibility in this role
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:**
+ BSEE or similar field and 12+ years' experience in flip-chip-BGA package design, including high-speed SerDes **or** MSEE or similar field and 10+ years' work experience
+ Knowledge of package-level signal integrity and power integrity, to apply to package designs
+ Cadence APD (allegro package designer) experience is preferred. Equivalent tool is OK.
+ Cooperate with our world-wide team (multiple time zones), including co-design with internal team members and external (Vendor) designers
+ Self-management and organization skills
+ Preferred candidates will also have 1 or more years experience with Cadence SKILL for Allegro, or similar design-automation coding experience and interest
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
+ This job requires working on-site at the Broadcom office, 5-days a week. This is not a remote-work position

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,300 - $226,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.

**General Summary**
The Product Manager has the primary responsibility to drive profitable revenue growth by working closely with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Technology through portfolio and product lifecycle management. What you will do
This Package Development Engineer will be responsible for: Leading development of new packages, including improvement and cost reduction of existing packages for the Skin Health Franchise.
The individual will be responsible for all required specifications, documentation and package testing to support product release. The individual will be required to work independently with moderate supervision. They will also be expected to take a leadership role with packaging projects and possess the ability to influence and interface with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires the individual to closely interact with the other cross-functional groups including other Global Engineering Associates, Research & Development, Marketing, Project Management, Design, Operations and Regulatory Affairs. This role will require creative problem-solving abilities, sound technical background, and a passion for developing consumer products for global consumers. The position will primarily support New Product Innovation/Development.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of BS degree in Packaging, Engineering or a related Science discipline is required. Advanced degree is preferred
- 4 years minimum experience in Cosmetic/Personal Care or related industry is required.
- This position requires knowledge of materials and processes used in construction and manufacturing of packaging such as:
- Extrusion/ Injection molding
- Dispensing systems (airless, pumps)
- Various decoration techniques
- Solid understanding of a broad spectrum of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes is required
- Ability to manage multiple constantly evolving priorities with minimal supervision is required
- Experience in package line trials and package testing is preferred
- Strong technical writing/documentation skills are preferred.
- Experience with GMP requirements preferred
