Job Title: Packaging Associate

Location: Henrietta, NY

Summary: The Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging pharmaceutical products by operating, maintaining, and cleaning equipment according to cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures. This temp-to-perm role involves hands-on execution of manufacturing and packaging processes in a regulated environment, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and documentation. It is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and eager to support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

All Shifts Available:

• A Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• B Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• C Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday
  • Must be available for a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.

Pay:

• $18.00 per hour + 10% B Shift Differential and 15% C Shift Differential

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, clean, and maintain production and packaging equipment in accordance with SOPs.

• Review production schedules and ensure all necessary supplies, materials, and documents are available.

• Execute packaging processes following cGMP guidelines and environmental health and safety standards.

• Document production activities accurately, including logs, reports, and batch records.

• Monitor and record process parameters and communicate any deviations or concerns.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure adherence to production timelines.

• Assist in equipment qualification, validation protocols, and process improvement initiatives.

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas.

• Communicate effectively with incoming shifts and supervisors about equipment, materials, or quality issues.

• Support a safe and secure work environment by following all HSSE and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Prior experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.

• Ability to operate and learn various production equipment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of computer applications desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, climbing, etc.).

As a Packaging Associate, you'll perform a variety of tasks within our dynamic warehouse environment to support production efficiency. Bring your problem-solving skill set as you quickly respond critical, unforeseen equipment issues that may arise throughout the normal operation day. Successful candidates must maintain a great attendance record and must be able to work overtime and off shifts.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Packaging Associate, you play a direct role in providing the community with our products. Paying attention to safety and health standards, you carefully weigh the cannabis in various increments from grams to ounces. You ensure they are accurately packaged into child-proof bags or containers and properly sealed. You also apply the proper label to each package, ensuring accuracy. With great attention to detail, you help uphold the high-quality standards we have set for our products.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

* Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations
* Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software
* Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product
* Sanitation & cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day
* Assist with the production line
* Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
* Fill and package products for delivery
* Record data
