Job Description
Volunteers are need to assist with sorting donated food items for the food pantry. Food items include dry goods, produce, breads and meat/poultry/seafood.
Help pack food for distribution to the clients on a day or days that the Food Pantry is operational (Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM opening time until closing at 12:30 PM). This food is handed out to those in need from the food pantry each week.
Volunteers should have the ability to stand for the duration of food distribution, and be able to lift up to 20 lbs. A grocery cart is available to help with especially heavy bags or boxes.
Clients pull up curbside, and some volunteers are needed to bring bagged food from the pantry to the client's car or cart.
When food comes in from various sources, the packer would help carry it in, weigh it, unpack it and put it on the food shelves in the proper location.
The food packer will keep the shelves organized by label and follow the direction of the Pantry Manager.

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm, and rotating half-day Saturdays dependent on business needs. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Load, unload, stock tires and auto parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment using industrial vehicles such as a forklift or picker equipment
Use scanners to find and put away tires and assist with inventory control
You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. When lifting commercial tires you will do team lifts or use mechanical equipment.
When working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires you will need to be able to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
Some of our stock racks are 25 feet tall, so you must be comfortable working at those heights safely while operating equipment.
Be on the move. You should be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures.
May assist other departments, such as ecomm, inventory, and will call depending on business needs
