The Product Evaluation Manager is responsible for overseeing the deployment, tracking, and analysis of product evaluation units with key customers or partners. This role ensures that evaluation programs are executed smoothly, feedback is collected effectively, and insights are used to inform product development and commercialization strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the placement and lifecycle of evaluation units with strategic partners.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams (engineering, sales, support) and external stakeholders (e.g., Account Team, key customers, or partners).
- Develop and manage evaluation plans, including success criteria, timelines, and reporting structures.
- Monitor performance and usage data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Collect and synthesize customer feedback to inform product improvements.
- Maintain detailed documentation of evaluation activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align evaluation results with go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or customer engineering roles.
- Experience working with enterprise or OEM customers, preferably in the semiconductor or hardware industry.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with product development cycles and evaluation methodologies.
- Ability to analyze technical data and translate it into actionable insights.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Semiconductor Fabs
- Knowledge of hardware validation, benchmarking, and performance testing.
- Ability to read, understand and respond to technical specifications.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel, and CRM platforms.
