We're searching for an analytically-minded and proactive Consumer Insights Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to support our Consumer Insights function. This role offers the opportunity to develop your research expertise while making meaningful contributions to Cricut's understanding of our creative community. You'll bridge support functions with independent research execution, helping transform consumer data into actionable insights that inform our product development and marketing strategies.
Working closely with colleagues across the Consumer Insights team and other functions, you will execute research studies while taking increasing ownership of project components and smaller-scale initiatives. This role encompasses consumer research activities spanning survey design, fieldwork, analysis, reporting, and presentation as well as qualitative research operations. The ideal candidate will have foundational research experience, demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, and show readiness to learn and grow their expertise.
Responsibilities
- Execute research projects from design through analysis, including supporting study planning, programming and testing surveys, collecting data, conducting analysis, and preparing comprehensive findings with guidance from senior team members
- Lead specific research components such as survey design and programming, research logistics for qualitative studies, data quality assurance, and preliminary analysis while collaborating with senior team members on strategic interpretation
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis including crosstabulations, trend analysis, significance testing, and qualitative coding; prepare charts, tables, and summary presentations that clearly communicate key findings and business implications

Department Overview
The mission of Global Strategic Insights is to connect human truth with business strategy to drive growth. + Synthesize insight from foundational tools (e.g. Menu Architecture, Customer Journey Insights, Occasion segmentation), continuous sources (Market data, CSAT, Brand Equity Tracker) and when relevant execute fresh research, to identify and prioritize a pipeline of innovation opportunities - focused on the most valuable problems to solve to unlock step changes in Customer Experience and Employee Experience
+ Partner with the Foresight Manager to ensure that prioritized innovation efforts address key consumer shifts

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
+ 8+ years of experience as a hands-on consumer insights project manager and analyst in the media, sports, or leisure areas. Significant experience working in the areas of streaming video, subscription media, digital media, and transactional business models is strongly preferred.
+ 4+ years as a lead presenter of findings designed to guide senior management toward better decisions and outcomes.
+ 4+ years working with 1st party data, and with syndicated data sets like MRI-Simmons, GWI, Claritas etc, and synthesizing data from diverse sources into holistic narratives to help guide decision-makers.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Experience analyzing survey data using platforms like Decipher, DisplayR, or Forsta is required. Experience with SPSS, Sawtooth, or other statistical packages is strongly preferred. SQL, Python, and R proficiency a plus.
+ Experience building data visualizations in platforms like Tableau, Looker and Power BI is a significant plus.

**Overview**
The Senior Director of Consumer Insights is a strategic leadership role within the SGWS Strategy & Insights team that will drive a consumer-centric mindset across the organization. This position leads both the Consumer Insights and Multicultural Insights functions, overseeing a comprehensive team that includes a Consumer Insights Director, Consumer Insights Analyst, and the established Multicultural Insights team. The role champions SGWS in developing diverse consumer and general shopper marketing strategies for suppliers and customers, while amplifying initiatives to support multicultural shopper strategies. This position serves as the subject matter expert on "route to consumer" that starts with a total consumer lens, and cascades down to multicultural marketing & commercial activation, in collaboration with SGWS leadership, suppliers, customers, sales leadership, and commercial operations. The Senior Director works with the broader Strategy and Insights team, to develop wholistic commercial storytelling, from a commercial and consumer lens.
