**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers
+ May receive, count and log cash received by carriers
+ Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to make sure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely
+ Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in system
+ Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no shows and/or unscheduled arrivals
+ Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary
+ Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler

The Pallet Jack Operator operates powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks and within facility locations.

The Operator - Material Handling will be a critical part of Operations to ensure materials for production are in the right place at the right time and be responsible for all inbound and outbound material flows through the facility.
**As an Operator - Material Handling, you will:**
+ Receive and accurately store manufacturing components from outside vendors and other Lilly sites.
+ Process material movements in the warehouse inventory system and complete cycle counting.
+ Prepare materials for production by case-picking and hand-picking materials from storage racks and bins.

**Other Information:**
+ Certified to operate assigned powered industrial trucks or ability to obtain certification within 3 months of employment start.
+ During the start-up phase of the project, the schedule will be primarily day shift (8-hourworkdays - Monday through Friday). There may be periods of (or a permanent transition to)10- or 12-hour shifts depending on the needs of the operation (and/or temporary learning assignments to other facilities).
+ During the start-up phase of the project, the location will be in temporary offices at the Lebanon site for onboarding and training.
+ Ability to work overtime, weekends, and off shifts as needed.
+ Tasks may require handling hazardous materials in accordance with safety procedures.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$17.30 - $34.38

**_Specific Job Duties:_**
+ Point person for all receiving functions - both from suppliers and floor.
+ Point person for answering the Warehouse doorbell when trucks arrive.
+ Serve as back-up for Shipping and Material Handler.
+ Ensure that product is labeled with part numbers, receipt date, PO if needed
+ Help to minimize excess inventory by alerting purchasing of all overruns.
+ Assist QC with documentation for incoming products, request cert if not included. Point person for assisting in running copies of this paperwork to various Production Team members.
+ Move and transact items to warehouse bins as needed.
+ Responsible for keeping shipping area organized; help wrap and move pallets, remove clutter, and inventory items to ensure efficient flow of area.
+ Point person for daily clean room pull request.
+ Report food safety concerns.
+ Maintain work area per food safety requirements.
+ Food Safety - Maintain a focus on food safety at all times, as outlined in our GMP policy under the guidance of SQF requirements.
+ Maintain the recycling program (pallets, plastic and wood)
**_General Warehouse Duties:_**
+ Ensure prompt material movements to production jobs and areas and ensure staging areas are equipped with materials to carry out jobs.
+ Move materials from production area to warehouse or shipping docks as needed.
+ Ensure transaction accuracy within ERP system.
+ Ensure inventory accuracy and help to minimize inventory value (MDR's, Cycle Counting, etc)
+ Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned
+ Perform material handling duties to include but not limited to; driving fork trucks, hand trucks and pallet jacks.
+ Partner with and support other departments.
+ Follow all ISO policies and procedures
**Qualifications, Education and Experience**
+ College degree preferred. Equivalent experience required.
+ Three to five years' warehousing experience, including systems experience (Syteline preferred).
+ Must be able to read, write and fluently speak English; must be able to perform basic Math. Communication and computer skills required.
+ Able to work well with others in a team environment.
+ Able to adjust to changing operating conditions quickly and efficiently.
+ Strong interpersonal and computer skills required.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
