We are seeking a highly skilled Panel Integration Technicians to join our dynamic team of experts. Your role will involve fabricating, inspecting, and testing Ground Safety Equipment assembly's & panel/racks integral to our various spaceflight systems.

Position Overview/Job Summary:
Panel Technicians II-Ill are responsible for integrating electronic equipment systems for space system components for the Artemis programs. Technicians are also responsible for assembling of complex electromechanical racks, panels and subassemblies.
As the Panel Technician, your contributions will be critical to ensuring safe, consistent, and groundbreaking advancements in human spaceflight.

Key Responsibilities (responsibilities include but are not limited to):
Performing installation of avionic components and systems, ensuring operational reliability and adherence to design specifications.
Reads instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
Mount and install components, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), relays, contactors, switches and terminal blocks in panel enclosures. Assembles cables, buses, and electromechanical systems
Read instructions such as work orders, diagrams and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly
Measures, cuts, solders and or crimps wire and contacts to fabricate wire harness

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment and education.
Must be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walkdowns which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a shop and construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing in very small and/or confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Associate degree in related field preferred. Experience in lieu of college education will be considered.

Job Title: Control Panel Assembler / Electrical Assembly Associate

Location: 10.5 Mile & Groesbeck, Warren, MI

Shift:

  • 1st (Mon-Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm)
  • 8 hour shift until fully trained (approximately 3-4 months)
  • Once fully trained, over-time is available (10-12 hour shifts)

Pay:

  • $18-22 an hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Control Panel Assembler to join our team. You will be responsible for wiring, assembling, and testing electrical control panels according to engineering specifications and industry standards. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to quality.

Daily Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Wire standard control panels from a schematic or running sheet
  • Layout panels, wire panels, pushbutton stations, and J-boxes
  • Build industrial control enclosures and connect wiring from schematics.
  • Interpret data from electrical diagrams and schematics and complete builds to given design.
  • Identify and select correct parts/materials required for build.
  • Determine placement of components as part of the panel design
  • Complete wiring of all components following electrical schematic diagrams
  • Ensure all panel diagrams, information and schematics are current and correct for the build.
  • Build and assemble control panels for robotic systems based on blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Perform wiring, labeling, and termination of control panel components, including sensors, actuators, PLCs, and power supplies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and wiring issues to ensure the functionality and safety of control panels.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure control panels meet performance and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of control panel assembly processes and wiring diagrams.
  • Panel Wiring: Wire electrical components, including control devices, relays, terminal blocks, and power distribution components, following wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Assembly: Assemble control panels and enclosures, ensuring all components fit and are securely mounted.
  • Testing: Perform functional testing and quality inspections to ensure panels meet performance and safety standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve wiring and assembly issues, including diagnosing and repairing defects or malfunctions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including wiring diagrams, test results, and any deviations from specifications.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure panels meet design requirements.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with industry regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical experience in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly, particularly in control panel building for robotics and automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and the ability to interpret technical documentation, and read blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly and wiring tasks, with safety as a primary focus.
  • Familiarity with industrial control components, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
