BASIC FUNCTION
The Part-time Location Maintenance and Repair Technician is responsible for the service and maintenance of equipment within a defined area of Columbia, MO, including fitness club and USPS locations in the surrounding area that require locker and massage chair service maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and repair of equipment

- Accurate and timely collections, bank, and report financial transactions
- Maintain policy and procedure expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte
- Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager
- Improve revenue of location consistent with traffic changes and corporate performance levels

- Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management

BASIC FUNCTION Smarte Carte Inc. is seeking a self-motivated individual for a part-time Location Maintenance & Repair Technician. This position will work a defined schedule at locations within an assigned radius for Smarte Carte vending equipment. Duties will include, but are not limited to, financial management, performing monthly collections, repairing, cleaning and performing regular maintenance on equipment such as strollers, massage chairs, and locker systems. Daily local travel.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Inspect and perform maintenance on all equipment, including; Carts, Cart Management Units, Strollers, Massage Chairs, and Locker Systems (where applicable).
- Perform cash and credit card collections accurately and efficiently. Deposit collections and complete end of month paperwork in a timely manner.
- Complete and submit all necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Clean carts, strollers, massage chairs, CMUs, and locker systems to ensure clean and functional equipment is available for customers at all times.
- Maintain database to record completion of daily tasks, equipment meter readings, and service history of all equipment.
- Establish, organize, and replenish personal inventory of replacement parts, tools, and cleaning equipment.
- Manage locations in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, as well as Smarte Carte and facility policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist with the installation of new locations or the upgrade of existing locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or technical degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years in a customer service role preferred
- Working knowledge of equipment
- Possess a high-level of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic aptitude, including root-cause analysis is preferred

SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reporting to the Director, Facilities, the Environmental Service Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas with a commitment to service excellence. Job Summary
Transports and handles all waste materials including but not limited to solid waste, recycling, and regulated medical waste. Responsible for management of beds, cribs, and other equipment as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements
DOT Hazardous Materials training required within 30 days of hire and every 3 years thereafte

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in hospital environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge in use of computers and ability to learn appropriate software applications.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing to meet the job requirements.
- Able to input data and create basic reports.
- Able to react calmly under stressful conditions.
- Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with clients and peers.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to solve complex problems.
Job Specific Duties
- Transports and handles all waste materials including but not limited to solid waste, recycling, and regulated medical waste.
- Responsible for managing the flow of beds, cribs, and other equipment as needed and requested by Dispatcher, Lead, or Supervisor.
- Cleans assigned areas in accordance with established procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining linen, waste, and bed storage areas in an appropriate manner.
- Attends meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
- Cleans emergency spills and debris.
- Ensures equipment is in good working order.
- Ensures proper infection control procedures are followed including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintains assigned work area and equipment.
- Reports safety hazards and defects.
