We are seeking to hire a patent prosecution associate or department attorney to join our Intellectual Property Practice Group in either our Chicago, IL or San Francisco, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to navigate changing patent laws and judicial decisions.
- Provide solutions for avoiding competitors' patents and protecting client assets.
- Draft and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to extract value from intellectual property.
- 5-8 years of patent prosecution experience.
- Experience drafting patent applications and prosecuting before the USPTO.
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.
- USPTO admission.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Superb judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent client services.
- Chicago, IL: $300,000 - $50,000
- San Francisco, CA: 300,000 - 350,000
