Position Summary :

The Payment Processing Team Manager is responsible for supporting, maintaining and monitoring the cash posting activities to ensure timely and accurate application to consumer automobile loans and in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. Identifies and resolves balance issues resulting from posting activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manages a team of up to five Payment Processors, including performance evaluations and daily oversight.
  • Monitors’ payment volume trends to optimize workload distribution and resource allocation.
  • Serves as the first-level escalation point for retail and lease payment inquiries.
  • Oversee daily cash receipt functions, including payment posting, unapplied items, and research responses.
  • Reviews redemptions and adjusts fees as needed in alignment with policy.
  • Supports Payment Processors with complex account handling and accounting-related questions.
  • Manages escalations related to charges, overpayments, and refunds.
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports, including payment activity and paid account summaries.
  • Conducts quality audits and ensures payment policies and procedures remain current.
  • Maintains access to sensitive consumer data and performs other duties as assigned.

**Job Summary:**
MUFG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with payment check processing experience. In this role you will collaborate with other senior technical team members and other developers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative technology solutions. You will interact with various technology, product and business teams across MUFG.
**Responsibilities**
+ Design, develop, test, and deploy new code to meet the business needs of the stories and features.
+ Maintain and enhance existing code to improve our software and minimize technical debt of the platform.
+ Research technical solutions for changing business needs and participate in team meetings.
+ Ability to work in a process-oriented environment.
+ Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
+ Ensure the final product is highly performant, responsive, and of the highest quality.
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 6 to 8 years of production support for check processing applications within a financial institution, preferable item processing system from FIS

The Rebate Reconciliation Analyst position will primarily be engaged in rebate reconciliation activities, payment analysis, dispute resolution, reserve analysis and other related financial analyses.
This includes working closely with internal partners such as Trade Relations / Legal / Accounting and external partners such as Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

**Job Duties**
+ Review and comprehend all contract terms applicable to the Reconciliation function
+ Track and apply payments due from pharmaceutical manufacturers
+ Identify any late payments and request late fee billing as required by contract
+ Manipulate and Analyze payment data from pharmaceutical manufacturers
+ Reconcile payment data received with Invoiced amount to identify all items disputed by pharmaceutical manufacturers
+ Analyze and research all variances and disputed items and determine whether to accept or reject disputes
+ Communicate with pharmaceutical manufacturers regarding variances and disputes
+ Update internal dispute tracking data file on a monthly basis
+ Perform analysis of required reserves on a monthly basis
+ Investigate and respond to questions/inquiries regarding the status of open balances
+ Ability to handle basic to intermediate data manipulation and analysis
**Required Qualifications**
+ 6+ months financial or analytical experience.
+ 6+ months experience with Microsoft Excel.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
+ Experience with contract administration, financial and / or data analysis, data-mining, cash reconciliations, and complex processes is beneficial.
+ PBM or pharmaceutical manufacturer experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical products preferred.
+ Contract interpretation experience is preferred
**Education**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, or Economics preferred or equivalent work experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $102,081.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
