REQUIREMENTS OF THE RN POSITION:
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
- Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
- At least two years of experience of either StepDown
- BLS Required, ACLS certification preferred.
- Must have exp with a variety of patients diagnosis to include Cardiac, Diabetics.
- Background screening as required by the state or contract.
- Drug screening as required by the contract.
- The RN should be able to read medical equipment and documents. Pushing carts and medical equipment may be a component of the job.
- Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down the stairs; position patients; walk long distances; and stand for prolonged periods.

The role you'll contribute:
The Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN to deliver exceptional care to patients requiring intermediate-level support and advanced clinical interventions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, particularly in progressive and critical care settings. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The Progressive Care Nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs and overall health status.

Care for patients with various diagnoses, including but not limited to: DKA requiring insulin drips, pre/post-surgical care, cellulitis, influenza, UTIs, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, renal failure (with or without hemodialysis), hepatic failure, gastrointestinal disorders and infections, soft tissue injury, minor fractures, DVTs, and possible CVA overflow.
