Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating effectively with medical providers and the care team. You'll provide comprehensive and compassionate care, advocating for patients and families while ensuring adherence to the organization's standards and values.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of patients upon admission and during each shift, promptly reporting any changes in condition.
• Administer medical treatments and medications as prescribed, and diligently document all care provided in patient records.
• Respond to patient needs proactively, ensuring a high level of care and support.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications in an understandable manner.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
• Current RN license.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing or a diploma from an accredited nursing program.

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
• BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
