Job Description Summary
The Senior Building Administrator has shared responsibility for the day to day operations and maintenance of several buildings across the Penn Engineering portfolio, including facilities repairs and maintenance, cleanliness (housekeeping), mission continuity, lab/life safety, security, building access and key control. Provide indirect supervision of the Services Assistants who identify, prioritize & resolve building operational needs working in conjunction with both internal unionized and external service providers to meet customer satisfaction and departmental needs and mission critical goals. Represent the Engineering and Operation Services (EOS) department at capital project meetings and share oversight of renovation projects and facilities related work requests - some of which can be highly involved and or sophisticated involving complex building systems such as building automation systems, HVAC and electrical distribution. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors who support critical infrastructure for academic and research missions for Penn Engineering. Regularly interact with FRES Administration to ensure service level agreements are being met. Maintain departmental database integrity for Work Orders, Keys, etc. Maintain shared 24/7 on call status for emergency situations and Penn Engineering needs such as utility shutdowns, lab lockouts, elevator entrapments, etc

Job Responsibilities
+ Assist with the various aspects of physical plant operations, including complex mechanical and electrical systems. Has shared responsibility for ensuring maintenance across the Penn Engineering portfolio is completed on time and on budget. Share 24/7 on call status for emergencies.
+ Oversee maintenance needs at satellite facilities using contract labor.
+ Conduct daily/weekly building inspection and quality control tours.
+ Represent EOS at capital project meetings.
+ Complete event setups, as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three to five years of facility operations, maintenance or project management experience, preferably in a higher education or tier 1 research setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven successful experience working with unionized trade personnel, contractors, and unionized housekeeping personnel. Working knowledge of building utility, life safety and access systems and experience with building automation systems. Experience negotiating contracts with external vendors. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting in a fast paced and demanding environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications & Database Management. Valid driver's license and the ability to be on 24/7 emergency call status.

Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Slate Application Developer in the Office of Academic Innovation, the Slate System Support Specialist is responsible for the effective coordination, support, and maintenance of the Slate CRM system. This role will predominantly be supporting the student success system needs for online, on-campus masters and graduate degrees; this role may also support admissions features where appropriate and necessary, as well. The Support Specialist is responsible for escalating issues to and collaborating on cases with the Slate System Developer to ensure timely and accurate addressing of requests. This role should feel comfortable with independently maintaining workflows, managing application cycles, and providing technical support for events and marketing campaigns/emails. They will be the direct support contact for the online admissions and marketing team.
Strong candidates for this position will have 1-3 years of experience with the Slate system, are familiar with the features that drive the admissions system, and are able to generally troubleshoot related concerns. Additionally, candidates with strong organizational and administrative skills will be good candidates as this role will require supporting administrative tasks for recruitment events, office hours, and student affairs events that use Slate to capture registration. This role will be hybrid and should anticipate two (2) days in-office in Philadelphia on the University of Pennsylvania campus.

Slate Process Coordinator
+ Coordinate/operate the Slate Admissions System for Penn Engineering, supporting online programs, on-campus masters and Ph.D., and our K12 admissions rounds
+ Support coordination of the Student Success system features, as well
+ Manage the process of turning Student Success modules on and off for each cycle
+ Make system updates where appropriate, either live or between admissions application cycles; will collaborate with the Slate System Developer
+ Support workflow maintenance, including clearing workflows in preparation for the next cycle
+ Provide troubleshooting support for the Admissions/Marketing/Student Success team and serve as the primary support contact for the online Admissions/Marketing/Student Success team
Campaigns & Deliver Communications Support
+ Support the development/build of ad hoc and campaign/drip emails in the Slate system, including recipient list queries, merge fields, and logic.
+ Work with Slate System Developer to confirm and build Deliver message queries where appropriate, along with conditional logic, merge fields, etc.
Request Processing, Triage & Escalation
+ Triage incoming Slate-related requests into the various help channels (Slack, ticket request forms, etc.) and provide tier 1 support.
+ Manage the Slate Helpdesk Asana board and in collaboration with team, migrate issues to the backlog.
Cycle Preparation Checklist Coordination
+ Maintain and coordinate the cycle preparation checklist projects in Asana to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
+ Provide recommendations for updating the checklist with the aim of tracking all behaviors required to open, manage, and close each admissions round.
+ Collaborate with other members of the Operations and Systems teams to ensure that their assigned tasks are completed timely, accurately, and drive toward key deadlines per the cycle prep checklist.
Events Support
+ Provide Slate-related support for events managed by the admissions/marketing teams as well as student affairs, including online and on-campus recruitment and engagement activities.
+ Support includes auditing event templates and communications, supporting registration processes, and supporting event setup in Slate.
+ Provide day-of support for Slate-driven events, where appropriate.
System & General Support
+ Ensure the Slate system has accurate user and permissions information.
+ Assign/update permissions at the discretion of the Application Developer.
+ Consistent deduping of records to ensure data accuracy and cleanliness.
+ Support System Developer with various tasks and projects where needed.

Qualifications
Required
+ Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related field, with one to three (1-3) years in an enrollment services role requiring technical and functional knowledge or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Experience working in a CRM, preferably Technolutions Slate
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to learn quickly and understand complex processes
+ Proficiency in workflow management and campaign communication strategies

Job Description Summary
The Executive Director for Corporate Engagement (ED), Penn Engineering, strengthens the interactions between Penn Engineering and major corporations in the areas of market development. Through partnerships with the private sector, Penn Engineering's vast research knowledge can be leveraged with corporate partners to create, enhance, and further develop new technologies and business opportunities in close alignment with the many interdisciplinary programs and faculty within Penn Engineering and across other Penn Schools at the University through active collaboration. Through a strong understanding of the strengths of Penn Engineering's research programs and expertise and the ability to align those assets with corporations expressing similar interests, the ED will help to implement the market sector business development strategies for Penn Engineering through coordinated efforts via the Penn Center for Innovation's (PCI), as well as the vision of the Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science. The ED will work with faculty, students, administration, and representatives from industry to advance these mutual research interests and to partner with corporations while helping to foster new relationships across the University and private businesses. The ED will have dual reporting responsibilities to PCI's Managing Director and to the Vice Dean of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E).

Job Responsibilities
+ Work with PCI's Managing Director and Penn Engineering's Vice-Dean of I&E to define and implement a strategic corporate outreach plan for Penn Engineering that will align well with corporate interests. Create a prioritized list of companies to cultivate that maps to the priority areas of Penn, and particularly Penn Engineering. Identify the critical decision makers within these corporate organizations and understand their business priorities. Develop long-term relationships with external corporate decision makers to identify areas where Penn Engineering's portfolio (research, talent, and education) can support companies' short and long-term strategic goals. Build and cultivate relationships across campus and the region to support engagement with corporations.
+ Oversee the development of a deep understanding of faculty and programmatic research interests at Penn Engineering to facilitate the aforementioned outreach activities and bridge potential areas of interest to the private sector. Key activities to include identifying and organizing internal resources, such as interviewing faculty, cataloguing expertise of faculty interested in working with corporate research groups outside the University, their associated papers, and IP that culminate "the pitch" on how their activities could potentially bridge into corporate interests. Create a "database" on research areas of expertise and maintain it. Interact with University faculty, officials, industry partners, vendors, and government representatives to understand and reduce barriers to collaboration.
+ Work with Penn faculty to develop materials that articulate how and where Penn can support longer-term opportunities for industry engagement that align with Penn's interdisciplinary programs, with a focus on Penn Engineering. Steward the potential partnership opportunities which may include identifying executive education areas, framing of new funded research programs, licensing of Penn IP, creation of research alliances, and/or new company formation. Work closely and collaboratively with the PCI teams responsible for these activities and operate as a trusted business partner. Provide insight and ongoing guidance to PCI around the wants and needs of potential partners and changes that might be considered to streamline negotiations and contract implementation to position Penn Engineering as a preferred industry partner.
+ Help to design, implement, and advance corporate/university events that foster research interest and partnerships among faculty, students, administration, and representatives from industry. Identify relevant high-profile external events (e.g., JP Morgan Healthcare Conference) where Penn Engineering's presence would be important. Identify relevant grant opportunities, understand, and communicate the application and vetting process.
+ In consultation with PCI's Managing Director and the Penn Engineering's Vice Dean of I&E, develop key metrics of success and processes to track. Work closely with faculty and corporations to facilitate project success. Establish ongoing factors to monitor collaborations to ensure continued productivity, which can include working to address areas of concern and streamlining administrative areas.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or computer sciences, and 7-10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in engineering, physical sciences, or computer sciences, and 5-7 years of relevant experience in a management position, preferably in management consulting, or business development positions in academia or industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. PhD and 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
+ Experience in business and relationship development is essential, and a strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is highly desirable.
+ Extensive business network and ability to navigate C-suite decision makers.
+ Experience and understanding of university policies and procedures are a plus.
+ Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and cooperation skills required.

+ Lead the strategic planning and execution of the go-to-market (GTM) efforts for new and/or existing programs with the goal of meeting or exceeding enrollment targets, reducing cost-per-enrollment, and maximizing revenue contribution.
+ Define / refine key audience segments, value propositions, and program differentiators based on research and faculty input.
+ Develop / refresh program positioning, messaging frameworks, and campaign narratives tailored to prospective student personas.
+ Collaborate with creative and digital teams to ensure campaigns are high-impact, driving engagement and conversion, while also aligned with brand standards.
+ Manage overall program marketing performance and collaborate with the Analytics team to iterate and optimize campaign performance metrics - including funnel data, creative effectiveness, and messaging resonance.

+ Admissions Team Enablement (10%)
+ Collaborate with admissions advisors and student support staff to train them on new messaging, positioning, and objection handling.

+ Gather feedback from front-line teams to refine marketing materials and identify emerging trends or pain points in the student journey.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience in product marketing, enrollment marketing, or growth marketing for high-consideration services or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Demonstrated ownership of full go-to-market strategy, including market research, messaging development, campaign execution, and post-launch optimization.
+ Proven ability to craft compelling digital marketing content for web, email, and paid media that converts interest into action.
+ Strong analytical skills and comfortable interpreting enrollment funnel metrics, identifying trends in campaign performance, and using data to recommend adjustments.
