A Day in the Life:
→ Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, other veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and client service.
→ Help veterinarians with patient exams, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring all equipment and supplies are prepared and ready.
→ Administer medications, vaccinations, lab tests, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital in the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a non-tenured Professor of Practice faculty position as a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian. This position supports the hospital's commitment to providing exceptional care for a vibrant and growing emergency caseload. The selected candidate will focus on the clinical management of cases in the Emergency Service and contribute to the educational mission of the College by providing focused clinical instruction to senior veterinary students, interns, and residents. There is an opportunity for a full-time or part-time appointment depending on candidate interest.
**Responsibilities** : The successful candidate will have demonstrated an interest in emergency medicine and surgery and in advanced patient care. Primary clinical responsibilities will include receiving and medically managing small animal emergency cases. The successful candidate will also assist with management of the workflow of diagnostics and treatments of hospitalized animals by other specialty services in the Intermediate Medical Care (IMC ) ward. The faculty assignment could include daytime, swing, or weekend work. Members of the veterinary faculty must contribute to a team environment, engage productively with referring veterinarians, and collaborate with colleagues. Faculty members are expected to provide exceptional patient care while simultaneously providing clinical instruction for veterinary students and house officers.

- Maintaining medical equipment, restocking supplies, and reporting inventory needs.

A Day in the Life:
As one of our dedicated EAMT's you will be responsible for providing rescue services and medical care to animals in illness, traumatic, or cruelty situations. You will assist other emergency agencies by performing a range of tasks, including complex animal rescues, cruelty investigations, evidence collection at suspected crime scenes, as well as medical stabilization and transport of animals in distress.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma OR GED.
- Successful completion of an EAMT assessment with a passing score of 75% or greater within six months of start
- Successful completion of the Physical Assessment test will be required annually to maintain employment.
- Must be 21 years old.

- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls to pick up and transport sick and injured stray animals.
- Perform physical exam and stabilize animals that have been involved in traumatic situations; scan for microchip and record all

- Administer treatment to injured or ill animals in the
- Behavior assessments on scene with appropriate use of restraint with an emphasis on soft handling

- Experience as Humane Officer, Animal Control Officer, Police Officer, or Military Police preferred.
- Shelter experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Arizona Revised Statute Title 13, and animal-related portions of Titles 3 and

- Must have an acceptable driving record and ability to pass drug and background screening to be insured as an AHS driver.

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $111,100.00 to $148,100.00 depending partly on the successful candidate’s qualifications, including education and experience. Your Role: US Pet Health Veterinary Sales Representative
As a Veterinary Sales Representative on the US Pet Health team, you’ll engage with veterinary customers to achieve a sales goal with Elanco products within an assigned geography. Pet Health Veterinary Field Representatives will play an important role in our success as we embark on a historic launch period for Elanco Animal Health and the Pet Health Organization.
Your Responsibilities:
Provides a key leadership role for distributor representatives within their assigned geography.
Responsible for product placement with targeted accounts in assigned geographical areas.
Responsible for executing sales objectives and strategies with corporate hospitals.
Responsible for completing a territory business plan with key essential wins identified as part of the plan. Executing the plan as the year progresses will be expected.
Territory representative will complete all set objectives and achieve sales goals while operating within an assigned expense budget.
Key liaison with local veterinary associations coordinating efforts surrounding the state VMA meetings.
Responsible for spending a defined amount of time in the field executing face-to-face meetings with hospital influencers.
Representatives will be responsible for setting up and executing launch meetings in conjunction with veterinary services in support of each product launch.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/ GED with equivalent level of experience
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales or equivalent selling experience in a competitive selling environment or previous Elanco intern
Top Skills: Team-first approach with a hustle mentality and eagerness to win
Must have a Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
