**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Work integrally with associated Product Engineering, Service Methods, and Field Service teams to create, manage, coordinate, and deliver training (globally) to internal and external partners and customers. This will include select duties as content developer, trainer, and registrar.
+ Use/Develop knowledge of PET service, analytical thinking, and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
+ Develop Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of best practices and gain awareness of the competition and the factors that differentiate GEHC Products in the market.
+ Uses sound engineering judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated processes with technical variety. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree and at least three years experience in the field or in an engineering role OR Associate's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
+ Recognized service expertise in the PET modality.
+ Demonstrated understanding of Engineering & Applied Science Fundamentals.
+ Fluent communication in English.

Representative Duties
DEFINITION

Retirement -PERS
Your CalPERS Pension formula will be dependent upon your hire date with the City of Elk Grove and/or your status with any Public Retirement System.
  • 2.7% at 55 if hired before 8/12/12.
  • 2% at 55 if hired after 8/12/12 and a current Classic member of CalPERS.
  • 2% at 62 if hired after 1/1/13 and not a Classic member of CalPERS.

Internal applicants will remain in their current retirement formula unless they are moving from a safety to miscellaneous classification.

Short Term/Long Term Disability

Provide services and support as a Shelter Supervision (Assistant Shelter Supervisor) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focussing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as City of Charlotte (COC) | Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA) Generally Located In CONUS - Charlotte, NC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assist in staff supervision and scheduling.
  • Monitor shelter cleanliness and safety.
  • Support intake and adoption procedures.
  • Maintain supply inventory.
  • Train staff on animal handling and care standards.
