**Job Summary and Qualifications**
We are currently looking for an ambitious Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator to join our team. As our Pharmacy Coordinator, you will provide consultative pharmacy services for the patient care areas and assists with the implementation and maintenance of pharmacy programs. You would also be responsible for providing leadership support with department operations and staff supervision. **What you will do in the role:**
+ You will provide oversight of pharmacy distribution activities including order receipt, product storage, controlled substance process, dispensing and other distributional functions.
+ You will evaluate and analyze clinical data, medication use, drug and drug class monograph development in support of clinical toolkit development.
+ You will provide leadership and support in the execution of clinical pharmacy programs.
+ You will coordinate educational activities, prepare and coordinate agendas for committee meetings and participate in other multidisciplinary committees as needed.
+ You will ensure efficient operation of all pharmacy consults services; orient staff to processes as appropriate. Act as a resource of clinical information for other pharmacists and healthcare providers.
+ You will provide leadership support in the development, implementation and maintenance of clinical pharmacy programs to ensure clinical services meet the requirements and needs of the patient population and community.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree in Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy.
+ One to three years recent inpatient hospital experience as a staff pharmacist; One year in a lead or supervisory position preferred.
+ Current FL Pharmacist license or licensure eligible.
+ Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communications skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.

Our Pharmacy team seeks a Residency Trained Clinical Pharmacist to join our 32-bed Pediatrics Intensive Care Unit.

This position requires PGY2 Residency Training to be considered.

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree; Completion of ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency or fellowship or demonstration of equivalent experience preferred

Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house program or other accredited program if appropriate



Position develops, implements, and monitors clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient care with an additional focus on decreasing cost; interacts with medical staff on drug utilization and cost containment. May be asked to assist in supervising the activities of all department employees in consultation with the department Director and/or Pharmacy Manager.

Strong customer service skills

Knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices

Familiarity with health care reimbursement environment

Work Schedule :

100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Day/Evening shift. Monday - Friday, eight hours shifts between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

• Provide medication therapy management services as part of the interdisciplinary team to patients to assure that drug therapy is safe, effective, efficient, and cost-effective.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness and compatibility with current therapy, drug allergies, adverse drug effects, duplication of therapy, compliance, etc.
• Coordinate information with physicians and clinic staff, documenting clinical information and outcomes within the patient profile.
• Maintain competency in drug therapy, disease management, drug information, and dispensing procedures.
• Provide training and education to pharmacy residents and PharmD students through practical and didactic experiences.
