We seek a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
Hours: This is a Part-Time position, you will be required to work 20 hours per week during the pharmacy hours of Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (flexible shifts available). Location: 230 Main St Extension Ste A Middletown, CT 06457
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Occasional deliveries will be required (could be to residences or facilities or doctor's offices); would be less than 10% of the time; would be using your own vehicle and will be reimbursed for mileage
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Connecticut
- Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification
- 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience

Connecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for Connecticut residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. **Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy technician experience, **OR**
+ 1 year of pharmacy technician lead/supervisory experience.
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician required (CPhT)
+ Certified Compounding Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) - required within 12 months of hire. Only required if supervising Compounding Technicians.
+ Must be licensed and/or registered (if required by state)

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Pay Range is $30.67-$51.12

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
Pharmacist:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Pharmacist
- Active, unencumbered Pharmacist license (Louisiana licensure may be required)
- BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of medication therapy management
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Pharmacy Technician:
