DOHMH has an opening for a Logistics Planning Manager . The Distribution Planning Manager will join the Operations, Logistics and Exercises Unit within the Bureau of Emergency Field Operations (BEFO) in OEPR. The Distribution Planning Manager oversees the Group responsible for coordinating and managing the distribution planning efforts for scenario specific operations including Points of Dispensing (PODs), Post Emergency Canvassing Operation (PECO) and Community Reception Centers (CRC).
Duties
This position will have the following primary duties but not limited to: Manage the Distribution Planning Group, including one coordinator, creating and maintaining oversight of Group goals, objectives and milestones, and tracking through completion.
- Manage partner warehouse relationship (DCAS), to ensure item (including Pharmaceuticals) maintenance and distribution planning, along with other readiness efforts, are built, maintained, and executed as required.
