System One is seeking to contract with a Nuclear Plant Integration Engineer for a long-term, fully remote role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team of engineers working at the forefront of nuclear innovation. The Plant Integration Engineer supports the integration, oversight, and coordination of nuclear island plant design with ongoing licensing and configuration management efforts.
The successful candidate will provide technical and administrative design and regulatory support and oversight for the nuclear plant. In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines-design engineering, licensing, safety analysis, and PRA-to develop plans, strategies, processes, and plant-level design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
+ Collaborates with a geographically diverse set of team members, including partner organizations, to develop nuclear island plant integration deliverables with a focus on ongoing design engineering, licensing, and configuration management efforts.
+ Provides support for activities led by other departments, including licensing, design engineering, safety analysis, and PRA.
+ Develops plant-level integration design deliverables in collaboration with plant design departments, including licensing, safety analysis, and PRA. Deliverables include plans, strategies, discipline design documents, plant-level design basis documents, and processes.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in nuclear facility design or operation, including one or more of the following areas:

WHAT TO EXPECT DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Develops and maintains existing client relationships. Serves as key contact with major clients.

Provides technical, design and project management services in support of water infrastructure projects (i.e. water distribution, wastewater collection/pumping, water & wastewater treatment) primarily for local government clients.
  • Capable of conducting critical negotiations and handling controversial issues. Exercises skill in persuading and negotiating or critical issues. Demonstrates good judgment in handling and solving complex technical and people assignments.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard practices within appropriate discipline including design and construction. Individually able to carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development and implementation of new or improved techniques or procedures.
  • Able to successfully lead and supervise a project team on projects of all sizes and levels of complexity. Ensure that all aspects of the project are followed through to completion which includes client meetings, project team communication, monitoring budget and progress and A/R collections.

Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Process Design Engineer (R4) to design and lead Indianapolis Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (IAPI) manufacturing processes to improve quality, cost, and throughput capabilities. Integrate new large molecule insulin products or product variants to IAPI production. Establish user requirements and qualification plans. Provide technical design oversight on large scale capital projects in partnership with Corporate Engineering. Establish conceptual and detailed designs for biopharma manufacturing, working as needed through Corporate Engineering and third-party designers. Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related engineering field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with process engineering and project delivery, commissioning, and qualification. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with manufacturing support in the pharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical or similar industry; 2 years of experience troubleshooting manufacturing operations including event investigations, corrective and preventative action planning, and diagnosing and correcting operational problems; and experience with large capital projects, process design, qualification, or validation activities.
