Plant Engineering
Working in a regulated cGxP environment, identifies engineering needs for site facilities. Controls expenditures and project execution. Develops FDA validation protocols and data. Represent site as Facilities SME on capital projects.
Facility Infrastructure Management - Supports the efficient operation of site facility infrastructure systems (to include all utility systems, HVAC systems etc). Monitors all system status and analyzes to identify trends. Develops maintenance strategies and programs (preventative, corrective, predictive etc) to ensure cost effective and reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems. Facilitates business units' capability to perform their functions.
Administrative - Develops and manages capital and expense budgets. Researches information and presents data on a wide variety of facility related topics including planning of facility needs, master facilities maintenance plan, and the disaster recovery plan. Performs management functions, including managing performance and providing training and development opportunities for staff. Acts as qualified trainer for Facilities related SOPs, programs to support site training needs.
Energy Conservation - Analyzes energy consumption, identifies energy savings opportunities, develops appropriate projects and implements to improve energy conservation to achieve site, and corporate energy reduction goals. Develops cost and energy savings metrics and reports.
Sustainable? Operations - Analyzes facilities processes and equipment to identify and implement opportunities to achieve Eco Team and Group Sustainability goals. Develops procedures, processes and/or projects to enhance sustainable operations at Bay Area sites.
Asset Management - Manage and maintain site asset listings, to include all buildings and grounds, utility infrastructure and equipment. Develop and manage Life Cycle Asset Management process, to include Facility Condition Assessments at each site. Proactively identify potential projects.

**Key Responsibilities** **to Anticipate:**
+ Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the power and cooling systems at the Program's Overseas Facilities; to include Chilled Water Systems, HVAC, Power Generation, and Emergency Backup systems
+ Monitor the Facilities system operation through remote Building Management Systems (BMS) and diagnose and resolve issues as they arise
+ Develop and produce system status reports, for overall system health and status, as well as root-cause analysis
+ Develop scopes of work ranging from new design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation and maintenance
+ Contribute to technical discussions with a team of Engineers and system manufacturers for system design, recapitalization, and troubleshooting efforts
+ Develop and maintain project documentation to include drawings, technical specifications, and operational data
+ Oversee technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost analysis

Develops maintenance strategies and programs (preventative, corrective, predictive etc) to ensure cost effective and reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems. Facilitates business units' capability to perform their functions.
Administrative - Develops and manages capital and expense budgets. Researches information and presents data on a wide variety of facility related topics including planning of facility needs, master facilities maintenance plan, and the disaster recovery plan. Performs management functions, including managing performance and providing training and development opportunities for staff. Acts as qualified trainer for Facilities related SOPs, programs to support site training needs.
Energy Conservation - Analyzes energy consumption, identifies energy savings opportunities, develops appropriate projects and implements to improve energy conservation to achieve site, and corporate energy reduction goals. Develops cost and energy savings metrics and reports.
Sustainable? Operations - Analyzes facilities processes and equipment to identify and implement opportunities to achieve Eco Team and Group Sustainability goals. Develops procedures, processes and/or projects to enhance sustainable operations at Bay Area sites.
Asset Management - Manage and maintain site asset listings, to include all buildings and grounds, utility infrastructure and equipment. Develop and manage Life Cycle Asset Management process, to include Facility Condition Assessments at each site. Proactively identify potential projects.
