**Responsibilities:**
+ Build a high performing technical team that helps meet or exceed operational objectives (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost).

+ Take leadership role in driving change management for the engineering and maintenance department related to people, structure, technology enhancement, regulatory and company initiatives on productivity.
+ Effectively communicate to management any critical actions needed to restore and maintain the basic conditions of the equipment/ processes to 100% reliability.
+ Ensures harmonization of processes, promotes, and enforces technical standards maintaining up-to-date knowledge and awareness of improvement methodologies and new techniques in maintenance.
+ Benchmark engineering and maintenance best practices against other BD sites and external references.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ BA/ BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field
+ Minimum 5 years relevant experience in operations
+ Minimum 3 years of managerial experience
+ Experience with Class III medical devices
+ Knowledge/experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
+ Ability to use design software, SolidWorks 3DCAD and Microsoft Project or equivalents.

+ Performance management for all Direct Reports (e.g. MyGPS, Objectives, IDP, Career Interest).
+ Utilize and apply the Engineers Guide to Career Development in the career planning process for engineering personnel.
+ Division Engineering Manager's prior concurrence, schedule and lead "Capability Assessments" for individuals as appropriate. Obtain Division Engineering Manager concurrence on hiring, promotion, filling of open positions and changes in responsibilities for plant engineering personnel.
+ Periodically update Division Engineering Manager on the performance, development plans and career interests of plant engineering personnel.
+ Proactively identify engineering resource needs to support the operation and pending project work.

**Responsibilities:**
**Customer-Facing Value Consulting (65%)**
+ Prepare and present customer-specific reports using the Entrust Analytics platform, providing insights into root causes of inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
+ Develop customer-specific strategies to improve quality, efficiency, and resource utilization.
+ Manage Customer Projects for Entrust Technology Hardware/Software sales and their integration into Customer environments

**Basic Qualifications**

+ 8+ years of professional experience within the card personalization industry, or closely similar manufacturing setting.
+ Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects across different time zones.
+ Ability to travel internationally (minimum 35%).
+ Advanced background in querying databases and utilizing analytic tools for information intelligence analysis and data visualization + presentation.
+ Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with analytics querying tools.
+ Strong demonstrated project management skills, including creating project roadmaps and tracking implementation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 4+ years of Project Management experience or equivalent certification (PMP).
+ Strong background in statistical analysis and translating big data insights into actionable recommendations.
+ Ability to automate and write scripts to create business reports, valuable graphical visualization of data, build automatic forms for customer information input, and automatically generate consulting reports using templates. Also, building data models and business cases.
