**Role Purpose**
The Plant Manager will lead the facility in achieving operational excellence, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products while fostering a positive work environment and driving continuous improvement. Plant managers serve as the key link between frontline operations and organizational objectives, balancing employee well-being with business goals to support sustainable growth and success.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Execute the plant objectives for safety, quality, delivery and cost.

+ Control Costs and Budgets: Prepare and manage budgets, control operating costs, and seek cost-saving opportunities.

+ Maintain Equipment: Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure all equipment is functioning properly to minimize downtime.

+ Reporting and Communication: Generate operational reports, communicate results to senior management, and address any issues impacting plant performance.

**Experiences/Education - Required**
+ B.S. or equivalent technical degree.
+ Progressive responsibilities in manufacturing and engineering roles in plants and divisions.
+ Experience in driving improvement, efficiency and cost reduction programs in manufacturing.
+ Experience in leading departments or organizations in meeting continuous improvement goals, step change performance improvements, innovation, expanding technical capability, work redesign or other change efforts.
+ Experience building and managing a cohesive staff and establishing collaborative relationships across functional areas.
+ Demonstrated track record of growing and placing talent.
+ Experience leading the build-out, expansion, or scale-up of manufacturing operations.

The range for this position is $184,563.00 - $253,775.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.

We are looking for a Plant Manager who will be responsible for leading and developing our Baltimore, Maryland plant staff, driving a safe and reliable work environment, and achieving annual and long term operational, financial and infrastructure objectives on site and the glass-mat network. The role will report to the Senior Director of Operations and will work in a matrixed environment to meet all the objectives. The Plant Manager establishes and directs all technical and administrative functions in the plant, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and partners with shared services organizations such as human resources and accounting.

Overview:
Responsible for overall execution of daily plant operation activities while ensuring cost effectiveness, timeliness, and accuracy of processing as well as high product quality and workplace safety for entire production team. Manages staff to ensure safe, standardized, and efficient environmental compliance, equipment & facility maintenance, processing of soiled products: wash and dry aisle; dryer offloading, sorting and bundling, and processing of product for storage or delivery. Monitors production levels and proactively adjusts to ensure product output levels are met in a safe, timely, cost-effective manner, and in line with quality standards. Builds and maintains positive working relationships with Market Center Management team and keeps them informed of plant operation issues. Leverages resources of Operation Support team as needed to address and overcome plant operation issues.
