In the role of an **Plant Maintenance Mechanic** working at the Coors Brewery in Golden Colorado you will be part of the Packaging Maintenance team, supporting Production Operations _._ You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great beer as possible.
Must have sufficient experience in an industrial maintenance environment. Skills must include the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, including corrective adjustments, timing changes, modifications, and part replacements in a timely manner to improve production efficiency. Must be able to respond to breakdown calls, while also balancing planned preventative and corrective work.
This position reports to our Equipment Specialist Leader. This position is a 4x4 schedule on Graves (6:00PM - 6:12AM), plus overtime support for openings and multi-day maintenance jobs.
**What You'll Be Brewing:**
+ Must have the necessary drive to improve plant performance through input and support of assigned line's long term reliability strategy.
+ Works to reduce unplanned downtime by completing assigned work, documenting work in SAP, identifying necessary improvements to equipment and preventative maintenance plans, and involvement in Root Cause Analysis, and working collaboratively with Maintenance Planners.
+ Be a resource for to the Production team, Instrumentation Controls Electricians, the quality team, and others to help solve recurring problems.
+ Assist in the training of new employees and creation of new SOPs, quick-fix routines for the breakdown process.
+ Contributes to a safe workplace by performing all tasks in safe manner, demonstrating the use of safety equipment, and in accordance with Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out safety rules, codes, policies, and regulations.
**Key Ingredients:**
+ HS diploma or GED required.
+ Experience with fabrication of parts using basic shop tools (Drill Press, Arbor, Cutting torches, saws), welding (Stick/TIG/MIG) ability is a plus.
+ Must be able to read and understand manual and drawings.
+ Able to work in team environment.
+ The position also involves frequent stooping or crawling in cramped quarters and underneath equipment.
+ Routine lifting of 50 pounds is normal practice.

**Technical Functions**
+ Troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, assemble, install, and adjust any building component, plant equipment, automotive and ground equipment, machinery, accessories, and parts
+ Execute assignments requiring plumbing skills
+ Execute assignments requiring millwright skills
+ Weld materials
+ Perform general building maintenance and construction work
+ Maintain locks and keys for facility (doors, desks, gates) and other airport locations, including digital security access doors and gates
**GSE / Facilities General Functions**
+ Assist in storage, removal, and clean-up of hazardous waste
+ Ensure forms, records, reports, and other work-related paperwork are completed properly
+ Request parts
+ Clean work area after each shift in preparation for the next crew
+ Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks
+ Coordinate with vendors regarding technical questions
+ Explain work procedures to other personnel
+ Escort vendors throughout airport property
**American Airlines General Functions**
+ Report to position on time, as scheduled, and at assigned station or location, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays
+ Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies
+ Complete job-relevant trainings
+ Adhere to government regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA)
+ Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
+ Follow instructions from supervisor or Crew Chief, as applicable
+ Coordinate with other employees, vendors, and stakeholders to accomplish work tasks
+ Perform duties that require general safety awareness (e.g., when working in an area with moving vehicles)
+ Wear uniforms and work shoes as required by company policy
+ Use relevant electronic systems to complete work
**All you'll need for success**
**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**
+ High School diploma or GED.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language or language native to geographical location.
+ Minimum of thirty-six months (36) or more journeyman experience in one or more maintenance trades such as a carpenter, electrician, HVAC, millwright, painter, plumber, or welder.
+ Possess the applicable state or city license.
+ Must be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions in accordance with Company Safety Guidelines.
+ Must be willing to work extra hours when there are operational needs, such as weather delays.
+ Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
+ Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA).
+ Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
+ You will be required to successfully complete our drug screening process.
+ Any subsequent relocation expenses are the responsibility of the candidate.

Plant Mechanic

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This position is being hired for the Rayville, LA project location. The Plant Mechanic is responsible for maintaining plant equipment in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate plant production equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. Performs required plant equipment maintenance. Informs manager of conditions that could impact production. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Inspects condition and operation of plant and mobile equipment and performs necessary repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance including handling welding repairs. Reports required repairs or other findings to Area Manager.
• Completes work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment.
• Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment and report findings to Area Manager.
• Prepares Plant reports as required and maintain an inventory of regularly used repair supplies or equipment.
• Assists personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
• Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety.

• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment.
• Lock-Out,/Tag-Out experience
• Welding experience.
• Experience working in confined spaces.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software

Additional Requirements:
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
