The employee serves as the Backup operator in Responsible Charge (BORC) of the facility in ensuring that the permitted levels are met in the discharge and in disposal of wasted sludge. Work involves planning and assigning work, inspecting the operations of the plant through observation and coordination with the Lab and Maintenance Supervisors. An employee in this class oversees the scheduling and daily tasks of the plant operators. Work also involves establishing and maintaining records and reports necessary for full compliance with all regulations and for effective management decision-making, requesting necessary resources in the annual budget, motivating, coaching, and ensuring effective productivity of division personnel. - Reviews print and specification prior to start of project. Coordinates work schedule for efficient completion of projects. Inspects projects in programs and at completion to ensure quality of work. Reviews all equipment and systems to ensure that they are compatible with existing system. Develops project budgets.
- Correctly utilizes and insures staff under supervision correctly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment by using appropriate personal protective equipment in required situations, providing staff training to insure proper operational use of anticipated personal protective equipment and insuring integrity of hospital issued and staff provided personal protective equipment.
- Reviews work request for accuracy and clarity.
- Ensures scope of work order is clear including realistic lead time, completion date, and appropriate equipment identification.
- Readily provides updates of work order to the originator as needed.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Facility Management Coordinator is responsible for the daily clerical operations of the Facility Management department. Under the supervision of the Director, the Facility Management Coordinator performs a variety of administrative duties, including payroll functions, accounting reconciliation, organization of regulatory documents, and maintenance of policies/procedures.
