As a Plant Support Engineer, you'll tackle technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and functionality of our prints and new designs. Your expertise will be instrumental in keeping our operations smooth and efficient.
**YOUR IMPACT**
+ Provide Engineering support to Plants by answering questions, helping with troubleshooting issues, addressing design errors, etc.
+ Help plant quality personnel with CSE (Customer Support Engineering) project creation.
+ Work with plant ME/IE personnel to answer questions related to future/current CN Releases.
+ Research, study, and propose modifications/fixes to current products to solve issues uncovered in the plants.
+ Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues.
+ Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and drawing standards. Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures.
+ Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
+ Directs preparation of layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of material
+ Perform engineering analysis to support the selection of parts, components, and materials that meet requirements

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's of Science in Engineering
+ 6-plus months of related experience or internship experience

**Pay Range:**
$63,500.00 - $101,700.00

Position Summary:

Assists in the management and coordination of functions and activities of the Plant Support Department with emphasis on landscaping.

The schedule will be Monday-Wednesday 12:00pm-9:00pm, and Saturday-Sunday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Building, drywall, painting, and construction skills.
• Maintains irrigation systems throughout SYHC, Inc.
• Performs duties directly related to general construction, plumbing, basic electricity, mechanical skills, and landscaping.
• Assist in the completion and coordination of all written work orders and verbal emergent work orders at all locations.
• Inspects and performs safety tests on electrical lighting, emergency generators, alarms systems, communication system, medical equipment and HVAC system.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job:

This role is first shift 8 am to 5 pm., 100% onsite with some on call responsibilities. Must have their own vehicle. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility of being extended. Customer is looking for a long term contractor and will extend as long as the contractor is performing to standard. This is a break/fix role but must be comfortable on ladders and scissor lifts in a manufacturing setting.

The IT Plant Support (ITPS) Analyst enables IT technical support to partners at our plant locations and contributes to Global IT projects and capabilities. The ITPS Analyst ensures service level agreements for IT systems and function are met including workstations, phones, servers, networking equipment, network connected lab and plant equipment, etc. He/she coordinates and communicates Global IT system outages and supports the plants through down time. This role works closely with many Global IT teams and business units to support technologies critical to plant and business applications and their performance, availability, and security.

• Provides support and follow-up to partners with hardware, phone, or other identified IT support items or process issues.

• Identifies and addresses trends in support issues and corrects the root cause or works with the right team to do so.

• Diagnoses, repairs, installs, performs, or facilitates upgrades on IT supported software and hardware according to Schreiber Foods’ standard operating procedures.

**Summary**
This job exists to ensure product quality and production levels are achieved and sustained within the assigned area. This includes supporting of maintenance, operation, sanitation, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment in the Plant floor from one end of the plant to the other. This job may also partner with assigned individuals in operation, electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of other equipment throughout the facility.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Must become qualified within 1 month of employment in this position.
+ Must be able to drive a forklift and assist with tote management as needed.
+ Utilizes computer and computer programs to communicate, document, and track shift information and ensures that all documents and reports are completed accurately in a timely and efficient manner.
+ May assist with training other plant personnel.
+ Maintains Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
+ Works within safety rules and regulations in actively avoiding injury to self and others.
+ Ensures proper food safety sanitation and cleaning procedures of all processing equipment and tools.
+ Ensures self-compliance with Company policies and plant procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
+ Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.
+ Ensures that additional accountabilities required by management are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational standards.
+ Stripping of product for rework and plant needs.
+ Check of foreign material in designated areas.
+ Help with specified production runs that supply added features.
+ Creation of totes and assist in tote management with appropriate staff.
+ Assisting in housekeeping and general sanitation of factory in designated areas as requested by management.
+ Assist with troubleshooting and other tasks through the facility.
+ Operates a forklift and conducts daily inspections of forklift equipment as needed.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Must be able to obtain Forklift Certification.
+ Must be able to work around and consume products containing soy, wheat, and dairy.
+ Previous Forklift experience
